When Khabib, or heck Jon Jones wins a fight like that... folks celebrate it.. but when Belal does, it's not the same?

Khabib literally would run through guys like a wrecking ball and finished most of his fights, Jon Jones also had his fair share of exciting fights and finishes.

Belal has 24 wins and now 18 decisions, most of which were fucking snoozefests.

Not the same thing.

I'm talking about this version of Belal... hell Kamaru used to fight like old Belal no? Then he improved his striking, and learned how to mix it up.

Yall doubted this win streak the whole time.

This guy won the title against ALL ODDS

Nobody in the UFC wanted this, but they couldnt deny it cos no one could beat him.

MERITOCRACY

CHOKE ON IT

Jones and Khabib never held position with weak ass strikes in the ground. Belal is a point fighter.
So is Strickland. Didn't stop people from creaming themselves when Strickland became champ.

It took awhile for people to warm up to Usman, and many never did. He had a rough start too.

Belal looked great tonight though

I give Belal his credit, no many people thought he would ever be champ and he took his opportunity and dominated. He looked great and deserved his win. Not much more I can do other than that…I’m not going to throw him a parade. Fight is over, on to the next PPV.

Fuck MMA fans. Sincerely.

These fools leave their TV's bitching, Belal leaves with a world title.

No better way to rub it in. Belal is the man and thats that. The crow is cooking, let me hand yall some plates.

Belal mixed it up perfectly. Far better performance than some past lay and prayers who've won/kept belts.

Looked like Glover vs my boy Rampage. Quinton didn't know what to expect from a punch to a takedown attempt.

muhammad is champion. he's the belt holder. his next fight will be DEFENDING HIS BELT. Not everyone is going to love the fighter you love. But he WON. Why are you still unhappy???

Agree. It doesn't matter if hes boring it's on everyone else to find a way through that and beat him.

He's the champ regardless of how he did it.

Huh? I was rooting for Leon lol... I'm just not a hater...and I've followed Belal's career since he got to the UFC. Saw something in him back then, that I'm not surprised he made it to the top.

As far as tonight, I felt Leon would pull it off. I didn't expect Belal to mix up his punches and takedowns perfectly like that. I do think Leon will engage and wrestle him more in a rematch.
