Just rewatched this, marauding performance from Figgy, 30-27 UD. Beat him up bad on the feet with his boxing and nasty elbows, got the better of Pantoja in his strongest area by shutting down Pantoja's grappling and taking him down. Sure it wasn't Pantoja's peak but he was 5-1 in the UFC at this point and the #3 contender, a really good win that has aged beautifully for Figgy. He remains the only man in the UFC to have dropped Pantoja (and the only man to have dropped Chito Vera too).

Figgy was a physical powerhouse at 125lbs and had a real bully like presence in there at 125lbs. He can still crack at 135lbs, but doesn't have the same type of commanding presence he used to have in his prime at 125lbs.

Awesome fighter and i tend to root for him.

Pantoja on the other hand peaked kind of late because he couldn't afford to train full time until later on in his mma career.

Figgy beat Moreno once. He beat pantoja too. He also beat Joe b twice. You're the one who is biased and also retarded. Figgy can crack and Ko people with one punch at flyweight, he can also sub and win 5 round decisions. He's the only flyweight to have some advantage over mighty mouse.

And had more title defenses/wins. than Brandon and beat the guy who Brandon had lost to recently when he lost the first time to brandon it was his 4th fight and weight cut in 10 months. When figgy beat "part time" pantoja, this same partimer already had 2 wins over Moreno soooo yeah. Joanna is better than rose. Figgy is better than Brandon in the same vein.
