So I've been recently battling my way through threads whenever i find some "all brazilians cheat" type of thing. i usually don't care, and i don't think much people in this sport are clean regardless of their nationality. But i really want to understand why this obsession right now, at any given chance, mma "fans" will bust out the "all brazilians are cheating" thing.

Our fighters do get tested, but seems like the time Wanderlei and Aldo escaped testers everyone started to think EVERY brazilian fighter does the same. Other than that, i only see speculations of fighter that did not fail, but are basically, oppressed by everyone with a bunch of theories on why they are cheating, and i don't see the same effort in proving other guys from different nationalities might be on juice or not. Even Joe Rogan and Schaub spread it around without facts.

This kind of mindset is generating MMA fans like this one :

So could someone please explain to me, why all these rumors and theories about Brazilian fighters being on PED's ? when did it start ? and why people don't suspect from other nationalities as well ?

Same reason Trump is winning. Muricans had it with forners, there all cheating us.

Its a mixture of recent brazillians losing and body changes to same fighters.

But I disclaim this doesnt mean shit.

What's the difference between the standard of testing in the US and Brazil? What's the differences?

Probably from the Pride days when Wanderlei and Shogun were destroying everyone. Wanderlei only had modest success in the UFC and then became a superstar in Japan, where I believe steroids were not tested for. Plus Shogun and Wanderlei didn't look like they did in Pride after UFC bought their contracts.

Tons of fighters get steroid accusations thrown at them, it's not just Brazilians. And you can battle your way through as many threads as you want, it won't change a thing, cause it's never going to end.

Rogan said it's the rat that the cat ate that died in the grass that the cows feed on that they slaughter for food.

Not really, i guess. but for some reason they go hard on speculations against Brazilians only. i don't understand that. especially RDA and Aldo.

they have to win a couple now.

I don't really know how it works. i was learning about it on other thread, it seems CABMMA conducts the testing for USADA and sends the samples to credentiated labs. CABMMA also does the testing for Shooto.

Recently ? i don't see TONS of accusations like you're saying. Romero just failed a test and i saw a thread a couple days ago talking about how good he is and that he's going to be the champion.

The thing is this. The sport is dominated by americans. Most of the fans are americans. The second most dominant country in the sport is brazil. That creates a sports rivalry. When there is a sport rivalry the fans of each side ,usually accuse the other for using ped's,bribing ref's,corruption etc etc.Thats not racism or something like that. Its just plain old sports fan conduct. And to me its a bit understandable...

Just because there are so many american fans it seems lopsided. And its also a bit of a meme sometimes.Thats why everybody jokes about trt vitor...

I'm asking simply do the fighers in Brazil get tested as much as the guys in the states and through the same organization? If not who's testing the fighters in Brazil and is the organization credible? I'm trying to understand why people are speaking out about fighters hiding in Brazil.

I imagine Brazilian based mma sites are the same against Americans.

I see no correlation between nationality and cheating.

But people assume "their" guys are more honest and the other guys are less honest.
