Lets not get into back and forth about how Conor has no ground game and will be destroyed etc etc.

Lets assume that Conor embarrasses Khabib and knocks him out easily in the first round.

Will all the people who are currently saying how great Khabib is, suddenly downplay Conor's achievement and say how Khabib was never any good and never beat a good fighter? He only beat a #11 fighter for the title etc etc...

Discuss...

Definitely, and probably for good reason since in your hypothetical scenario it sounds like he's been exposed in some way. in your construction it would be justified since Khabib has just been "embarrassed".

Yes, but rather than give credit to Conor, they would rather take away from it by saying Khabib is no good.

I would be the 1st to admit that Conor is the best.

Yet, I am willing to sig or av bet anyone that Khabib wins this.

IF IT EVER HAPPENS.

WHERE YOU AT, CONNIE?!

Let’s see it then. Khabib is ready, where is Conor at?

No more talk. Conor is the one who left his belt and is avoiding the top guys.

Conor literally has one chance to crack Khabib before he gets taken down and gasses 90% of his fight energy.

I'm a huge Conor fan but his chances are slim to none.

Not saying it can't happen, but he has like a 1% chance of landing the perfect mma left hand in the first 2 mins.

It is Sherdog.......stupid question....

They’ll say Khabib is a horrible striker and Conor got lucky and caught him.

The sensible ones will give him credit

The pure haters will say he got lucky or Khabib took him lightly or something to that effect

Conor has a 6% chance of beating Khabib.

All Khabib really has to do is not get knocked out in the early rounds.

By my unscientific assessment, Conor has a 20% chance of landing the KO in the first round, and thus winning the fight. After that, he probably has a 10% chance of landing the KO shot in the second.

Khabib dominates 100% of every other round.

By my math, that really gives Conor about a 6% chance of winning the fight.

THIS IS FUBAR!

CONOR HAS BEEN SHOOK

HE GOT DOMINATED IN THE STAND UP BY FLOYD MAYWEATHER

HES BEEN DOMINATED ON THE GROUND BY NATE DIAZ

ALL HIS MYSTIC HAS BEEN SHED

YOU DONT GET BETTER BY STAYING OUT OF THE RING

I BET YOU CARLOS CONDIT WOULD KILL MCNUGGETS IN 2 ROUNDS

KHABIB WOULD GRIND CONOR INTO DUST

People who saying khabib kills him are out of their minds. Conor would be the fav imo at most slight underdog. I would be pulling for khabib, but not surprised at all of conor ko’s him in 1.

You nailed it.....:D

Honestly it would depend on how Conor wins. If its a quick KO through Khabib's poor striking defense then it would be likely to be more talk of Khabib being exposed. If Conor stuffs/survives TDs then KOs him then it would be immensely impressive.

I think Khabib will win, but Khabib does have sloppy striking technique, so if Conor is able to KO him standing, I won't be surprised. I'm not a Conor fan, but I think Conor haters do downplay just how good his striking is in MMA. He hits very hard and his striking is very sharp. He has a good chance to put away any opponent he faces.
What does it mean to "give credit" to someone anyway? Isn't that just acknowledging reality? In a sport as pure as MMA, where it's two fighters in a cage together, when one fighter wins (aside from bullshit decisions) you have to give them credit. Before the fight, we get to hypothesize about who we think will win, but once the fight happens, credit goes to the winner.

“Conor want to fight with bus...” Khabib

Khabib cries like a baby just like he did back in his sambo days. If you have seen the video, he was crying after losing a sambo match
