Any news on him? He's coming off a big win in his LHW debut back in January. Who would you like to see next for him? At 35 and 35 pro fights I don't see him fighting to much longer. Maybe a year or 2 at most.

By the way it's a tragedy Ed Herman isn't in the UFC game. 19 fights in the UFC and he can't even get in the game? Bogus

Always been a fan of Short Fuse. One of the more under appreciated guys I feel

Ive never been a fan. IIRC, after beating Boetsch, he mentioned wanting to pack on some muscle to compete at 205lbs properly.

He's one of the slowest fighters I've ever seen, which isn't surprising really given how long he's been in the game and his age. Tough dude, no doubt.

I hope they feed him to Krylov, it'll be interesting to see how Krylov deals with a guy who's really difficult to put away but slow enough to be able to have his way with at the same time.

Herman has been around forever. I think he and Bisping are the only guys from tuf 3 left.

He was Chris Lebens training partner. I don't think that helped him.

Chris accomplished a lot in spite of his ridiculous habits and all but I think that with a better mentor, Ed would have been much better. Just my opinion.

I still, to this day think he beat Kendall Grove at the TUF finale. I hope he continues picking up wins at 205.

It's also ridiculous that he's not in the UFC game.

Herman long been underappreciated, hell he beat a prime Glover Teixeira. Has fought tough killer grapplers over the years and never backed down or refused to engage even against the Maias and Shields of the world.

Those assholes would have given him spinning back kicks, showtime kick and made him super skinny. Haa

While I agree with your post, it was not a prime glover.

It certainly was as far as his physical prime is concerned. Glover didn't even make it t the UFC until his early 30s because of visa issues, we missed out on the best parts of his career. I feel when he finally made it here he was still very good but age had just started to catch up to him. It's honestly a shame.

I like short fuse, he's always been a solid fighter and generally has good fights. He's had his share of wars and injuries but looking forward to seeing him back. Krylov would be a good fight.

Hew beat glover he has that going for jhim. His biggest problem is that of a lot of mid tier guys that get lost in the mix, they get their doors blown off by the top guys so they stay in pedestrian purgatory forever. He got his doors blown off by Brunson, Jacare, shileds and Maia. He is a perrenial 15-20 guy. His win over Natal is big, sapo is a really tough guy to beat.

Lol so true. Was just playing last night and Miocic looks like a melon headed cancer patient in the game.
