Handguard with barrel nut and the barrel. Didn't look into it with the gas block and the Saker Trifecta. With all that it's probably closer to 3 but that's still way lighter than any of my previous ARs.

Got a Faxon Firearms pencil barrel, Saker Trifecta flash hider, the Faxon gas block, and a 12.65 MidWest Industries Keymod rail.

Just added it all up (not including the gas tube or a front sight).

29.02 ounces.

This sparc looks cool. Gotta agree on the 4 moa dot. My RMR might be better than that.

I took advantage of some Black Friday deals. I got 15% off at kifaru to get a few things I've been meaning to buy. A new sleeping bag and a smaller pack to fit on my frame. I ended up getting a rant pack for like 120.00. And the sleeping bag for just over 300.00.

I also needed a decent hunting scope for a 30-06 I randomly picked up. I used a code at brownells to get a leupold vx2 3-9 for 183.00 shipped and a tinney trigger for the same gun.

Finally, I didn't get a discount but I ordered a McMillan stock for a model 70, actually the same gun that's getting the scope and trigger. Talk about getting an overhaul.

I got an ODIN works extended mag release. Always feel like I have to stretch my hand to hit it.

Looking at a Geissele Airborne charging handle

I like my BCM one but the damn thing is always getting snagged on shit. My buddy has that Geissele one and he’s never had issues like that even running a cheat rig or plate carrier
