I've always loved heavyweight. Even the slow, lumbering ones. There's so much tension in everything they do, knowing that one punch could end it all.

Yea dude I love the 2 big weight classes where if you fuck up you are likely getting put down.

That's my weight class and the weight class of my all-time favourite fighter.

Light-heavyweight was always a special class too. It sucks now, but historically, was one of the best.
When I started following closely in 2005, you had Chuck, Randy, Wanderlei, Rampage, Shogun, Overeem, Tito, Vitor, Griffin/Bonnar, Arona, lil Nog...
Funny, because now, those are two of the most mismanaged weight classes in the UFC.

I voted, and answered the question truthfully. I have 5 all-time fav wmma fighters. One is retired (Felicia Spencer. Been watching her since her Invicta debut in 2015. Until she retired in 2021. One is the BW, and FW champion (Amanda Nunes. Been watching her since her debut in Invicta in 2012). And as of the card this past Saturday. The other 3 are in the UFC SW division, right now (Zhang Weili. Been watching since her UFC debut in 2018. Jessica Andrade. Been watching her since her UFC debut in 2012. and Gillian Robertson. Been watching since her UFC debut in 2017). These ladies don’t know what it means to have a boring fight. I can’t say the same thing about some of the fighters in the male divisions of the UFC.

Why would something somebody votes for in a poll on the internet with 12 possible answers trigger you? So much so that you actually post about it? That is literally what your post is. It has nothing to do with the topic. You don’t even say what your choice is. The sole purpose of your post was to shit on wmma, and the people that enjoy it.

You call people clowns for voting for a wmma division. Then you say we can like whatever we want. A little hypocritical, No? And then you say wmma is trash, and not even close to mma.

Who said wmma was close to or better than mma? I didn’t. Nobody else in the thread said it either.

The poll asks.. What is your favourite weight class to watch? I didn’t find the question ambiguous, at all. But, apparently you did? It doesn’t ask which division is the best? It doesn’t require anybody to shit on any division, or person. It asks a very simple question. Why would anybody’s vote bother you that much?
