What's your coolest language ?

All languages are pretty cool, IMO.
Agreed, I love the way they let us talk and shit

Also bad language was instilled in me at a young age , it's only cool some times though

Id like to learn the big Asian languages, including Russian and the various Indian ones, as well as sign language. Learning some of the ancient ones would be neat too. As for coolest sounding, no preference.

or maybe some real asian languages like Korean, Japanese, Asian.

I would love to be able to shout in Japanese, GOAT shouting language

African language. They use clicks and other "noises".
Sign language is pretty cool too. I feel like you can sign faster than you can speak.

Spanish sounds cool at times, sounds lazy at others.

I like Japanese because it has a kind of professionalism to it, and is quite monotone.

After learning Thai I want nothing to do with tonal languages.

Italians up there.

Sounds similar to Spanish, but 1000x sexier.

I dunno about you fuckin cunts but I quite like Australian.

Japanese. Always sounds like you are about to fill the room with karate chops.

IDK... it does not sound sexy or anything. You have italian, french, portuguese, spanish.. those languages have a romantic ring on it.
German does not sound that pretty but I'm interested for some reason. Maybe is their culture.

I can speak decent Spanish, much better than my ethnic language Tagalog and regional ethnic Filipino dialect kapampangan.
I’d like to pick up Italian or Portuguese later when I have more time. I’m visiting Lisbon next year so we’ll see.

I think Russian sounds so Cool and unique and representative of the culture.

I’m the philistine/idiot in my family as my mom can speak 5 languages and my dad 3.

Portugal is a great country and Lisbon is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Have you been before?

It will be my first time, I have neighbor and his family and we became pretty decent friends, (gone out once and awhile and hit golf balls at the nearby driving range) anyway he goes back and forth from Portugal to here, and invited me to stay for a few weeks I took him up on it... and it’ll be around in August.
I’m excited about that.

He kids that hes gonna get me to settle down with a nice Portuguese wife, lol makes no sense since his wife is a Filipina.
Ehh... either way, it should be fun.

That's fantastic. I'm sure you'll love it - especially if you get some time on your own to just wander around. Always great to stay with people living there, of course - makes everything that much easier. It's one of my favourite places in Europe - the Portuguese are so likeable and easy-going, too. Very humble and earnest people. And Lisbon is absolutely ideal in late August/September :)

Haha, lol at the subtle dis at his own wife.

Anyway, we expect invites to your upcoming wedding in Lisbon ;)

Well, my wife was born & raised in Orange County in SoCal where her housekeeper/nanny taught her Spanish as a second language from the time she was a baby so she speaks it fluently, She's been trying to teach me the language since we met three years ago but I'm not making a whole lot of progress with it. So, I think it would be cool to get good enough to be able to converse with her in Spanish. Other than that, I've never desired to learn another language because all my ancestors are from the UK so English is my people's language.

yeah, the thing with language, is that there really is no point in attempting to learn it, if you are never going to use it on a consistent basis. spanish is one that you can use frequently. if i remember right, you recently moved to arizona, so i'm sure there are lots of spanish-speakers there.

The most useful languages to learn where I live would be mandarin and cantonese. However, a language that I would like to know is Spanish.
