Obviously this goes for wives but also female workmates, they kind of expect you to know shit, or what to do in a certain scenario. Also, men today still have all the disadvantages of a traditional society, but none of the advantages of a modern one.

For instance,

Men are still expected to:
1. Work and provide for women
2. Protect women, place themselves in harm's way
3. Pay for most things
4. Provide for women even after they divorce you

However, we don't get to:
1. Have a fair shot at getting custody of children
2. Have the law on our side in any domestic dispute
3. Be the head of your household with your wife being subservient to you.

Basically we get all the downsides without any of the upside.

However, I do believe that makes us better, stronger, smarter so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Workplace injuries/deaths and lack of regard for men in dangerous jobs is endemic to the culture.

Males have to meet a lot more criteria to qualify as a suitable sexual partner.
