The dude loves to fight and tried his hardest to save an inevitably doomed main event. Whether or not he made weight wouldn't have made a difference except in the perfect scenario where he would be able to compete. It's not like anyone had anything to lose by him not making weight. Christ.

I'm glad Max didn't take the fight because he wasn't even getting a bonus FFS.

Max stepped up on his contracted pay. That's why they picked Max to fight Khabib.

Then when Pettis asked for more $ to step up, the deined it. Fuck the UFC & WME

Max is one of the classiest guy in the entire sport. He even apologized to Khabib for the situation. For not being able to fight...on six days notice...because they made him stop.

Would still root for Khabib in a fight, but Max may be my favorite fighter. Just an incredible guy.

Lol barely anyone is hating on Max, they're hating on Conor for ruining 3 fights and the NYSAC for thinking rankings are real

There have been some people hating on MAx, which is understandable. But he's been able to fight at least twice a year for the last several years and only really has one injury pullout to his record. This happened because the UFC didn't think to have numerous backups for someone coming off an injury and trying to make weight in less than a week and NYSAC apparently not letting him fight at all.
