Whats the biggest fluke win in UFC history?

Both fights of Weidman vs Anderson.

Thats a bullshit technique imo. Checking with the shin hurts enough dont need to add the knee in especially in training u could fck someones leg up

I grew up in Detroit.
We weren’t training to fight professionally.

That said, obviously I agree; which is why I/we stopped doing it in training.

My cousin’s Filipino uncles * taught us to do that. It’s how we learned to scrap when we were kids.
They’d also have us parrying punches to our elbows and whatnot.
It was the case that we had to chill when we were in the gym.

The fluke is that he was clowning around and not protecting himself. He had settled in and got comfortable in the 1st fight and started clowning not taling Weidman seriously.

Nah, he'd been doing that for years, showboating to try and draw out sloppy attacks to counter or just to get into peoples head, Weidman just reacted to it really well moving forward so he was squared up then throwing that double right with the little backfist to confuse Silvas left/right shoulder rolling.

Weidman/Silva 1, Weidman/Silva 2, Weidman/Hall. All weird and flukey and shit.

Weidman/Silva 1 may have been weird, but it wasn't flukey. Silva likes to counterpunch. Weidman did a great job staying grounded and not overextending himself, so Silva resorted to clowning to try to draw him in. Well, he drew him in.

EDIT: Man, this is almost a verbatim quote of the above comment. Well, I still stand by it.

Most things people are calling flukes aren't flukes. Throw a punch with the intent of it landing, it lands and hurts said opponent = not a fluke, regardless if the other fighter is the better one.
A fluke is just an unlikely or chance based occurrence. If we’re going to say that any fighter who throws a strike or submission and finishes a fight with it qualifies as long as they were intending to hit or submit their opponent with it then almost nothing is a fluke, but that isn’t the definition.

Teh Chris breaking his leg on Uriah Hall's shin in the first 17 seconds.

Greatest WTF moment in the history of MMA

Conor literally retired Khabib , he knew he was going to lose a rematch and he's right. Conor would steam roll that bum.

sure he would have....

Short memory span...Goldfish in a past life..
suck it up Edgelord<GrassoBless>

Throwing strikes and winning the lottery aren't the same thing, nor would the odds correlate.

Fun fact: 73.6% of statistics are made up on the spot. 1 in 8 or 9 is fucking accurate.
I tried explaining it *shrugs*

The chance of the sun exploding tomorrow isn't 50% because there are two choices (yes and no)

The chance of one strike landing isn't dependent on how many times you throw it (if you throw it 9 times you don't have a 1/9 chance of it landing every time)

Your position is mathematically offensive

Kid lol

Eddie was far removed from his best days, and that was in 2016, when Obama was president.

Since then, Eddie has been cut to One, which is a low-leve league, where he has lost to Timofey Nastyukhin, ranked near 120, Iuri Lapicus, unranked in top 250, and Ok Rae Yoon, unranked.

To recap:

  • Last decent win was Eddie in 2016, when Obama was president.
  • Went to D-League, One FC.
  • Lost to 3 unranked fighters, destroyed badly in one of those fights.

The hipster thing is to pretend Conor isn't 3-4, sub-.500, at 155+.
If you wanna be technical trump had already won presidency. Eddie went on to beat Justin after and almost beat Dustin in there 1st fight and had a war in there 2nd.. you don't know much and are just a parrot

But was Obama the president? Yes or no?

Is Eddie in One, losing to unranked fighters?

Is Conor 3-4 at 155+, with no notable wins in the division in 6+ years?

The answers are yes, yes, yes. You've done nothing but prove I'm right.

So in your mind Eddie was shot for the conor fight? Yet beats Justin and has 2 hard fought Dustin fights

Was trump technically our president after November 8th.. I would say absolutely! that's when the transition of power begins.

So a shot Eddie beats Justin and goes life and death with a 30 yr old Dustin? You are tripping kid!

You are nothing but a hipster that regurgitate things you hear with no mind of your own

Someone who won a fight who wasn't supposed to by landing a strike or a sub on a guy who made a mistake isn't a fluke. Sorry bud

McGregor Vs Aldo, the verbal bullying made Aldo make a mistake Conor knew before even walking out there. Which resulted in the fight being 13 seconds.

The odds won't change until he throws the same strike again. You can only calculate the odds based off of the current sample.

Do you think 1 in 9 is less accurate than 1 in a million? We'd need a million misses before 1 in a million could be accurate.

Your examples are pretty bad, brother. There is a 100% chance that the sun will explode. It's not an if, but a when. There's a 100% chance it will not explode tomorrow.
