I've been boxing for a while. Wanting to get a new heavy bag. The heaviest I found is from Biltuff 350 pounder, but I don't know if they're a legit business as I've never seen pics or vids with individuals with this brand. Any information on this brand? Suggestions on a new bag are much appreciated.

I went to see how much the shipping would be to ship that 350 pound bag, and I got the most ridiculous price. Told me it's gonna be $9,999.99 to ship it on the checkout cart, lol. I sent Biltuff an email yesterday and still no reply. Hm, I doubt I'm going to even bother trying to buy this because of this ridiculous shipping price because mistake or not they've been too lazy to send me a reply or just don't care.:icon_sad:

Dont know where you are but KOFight gear does larger bags. They in New York or that area.

Thai Banana Bags - KO Fightgear

"But more so, you’ll be purchasing a superior bag and this we assure you. The bags listed on this page are limited in weight because of the UPS restriction of 150 Lbs. We offer custom bags up to 400 Lbs. If you have an idea, let’s talk!"

Ah, I see. No wonder I can't find a bag that's over 150 that'll ship to be aside from the ones that you can fill up on your own. That's some bs. There's no other mail service that'll ship over 150 like fedex?

just my 2 cents.

As long as the bag is made of leather and you fill it right, the brand doesn't matter.

I've seen custom made bags that are really kick ass and even are better than the high end bags

just hang up a hobo and use him. cheaper. just replace him every week or so to prevent smell

would the hobo really be heavy enough?I have not ever seen one weighing 300lb +

whatever weight class you fight in, that is the size of hobo you should be using. this makes a more realistic bag session.

I was training at a muay thai school in Oakland California. They had 300lb fairtex heavybags. This is the best bag I have ever used. If is soft as $hit, but so heavy that it does not move at all while striking it. I was able to hit it 110% and felt there was no risk of injury and kick it with all my might and felt no risk of injury. You could beat the $hit out of this bag and it will not move. It is so big that 3 people work on it at once.

Best bag ever!

I just ordered a 200 pound bag from ringside and also some everlast hydrolast boots. I'll post pics when they come in. I said f the 350 bag because I figured that's probably overkill because I won't be fighting anyone close to that weight.

I believe Ringside makes a water filled bag that weighs several hundred pounds. I've worked with one only partially filled and it still hurt like hell to go 100%. I imagine it would be even worse if it were full.

if you have deep pockets, Cleto Reyes makes a leather bag that will last a lifetime.

besides hobos, my favortie bag: i&i sports, 200lb muay thai bag. it has performed better than any of the other bags at my gym, including fairtex. in fact i got it second hand and it still has outlived some of my others. it is very dense though and can be painful for non conditioned newbies.
also, csi has a 200lb water filled heavy bag. nice bag but feels like you are kicking a dolphin.

I really like the Fairtex bags.

yeah, I saw the Fairtex bags and Cleto Reyes bags but they don't weigh as much as the 200 pound bag I ordered. Well, atleast that's what I saw on ringside's site.
