Whats the beef between Denny Prokopos & Ryan Hall ?

Yeah. U mad.

But seriously, why? You come here to speak with some knowledge, and then the rest is just talking down to everyone. You act like everyone here are just a bunch of peons and beneath you (seriously look at your past 20 posts...). If that's the case, why come back?

You just seem so full of anger. A lot of people would suggest martial arts as a means of dealing with inner anger, but looks like that's not working.

Seriously look back at your posts and ask yourself "why do I act like this?"

Really? The dudes gossiping are the ones acting like children?

^ I haven't trained at Hall's but probably won't because I'm afraid someone named Kenny will make me drink bleach. It's ashame because it's right down the road from me.

I think ryan should really tell you to stay off the internet man, you are really not helping the business...

It's funny how you quote that from his book but missed the part where he said he called it a guillotine until one of the machado's renamed it because 'they already had a guillotine'

I'm well aware Jean Jacques nicknamed it the Twister, I'm not even opposed to it as a nickname (honestly, 10th Planet contains MUCH worse names). Bravo knew it was a guillotine from wrestling and said as much, he also said he couldn't be bothered to do a bit of research regarding names he's otherwise oblivious to, and then in more recent times accuses of Hall of not giving credit (presumably to him and his Twister series / system) for something he didn't even invent. He'll say Hall is known for being bad at giving credit to people, yet if anyone has watched any of Hall's videos you'll know he does mention guys like Garcia, Abreu and so on.

So yeah ... Bravo needs to get over himself.

While I appreciate the shift of focus in this thread to your personal psychiatric evaluations and business advice, I encourage you to direct that energy towards something more productive. Although from both the board and this thread, I realize how difficult it can be for some of you to stop typing and mind your own business.

Shockingly enough, I'm willing to bet everyone on this board that had competed against me, trained with me, been refereed by me, visited 50/50 or introduced themselves to me, found that I'm quite pleasant. Many will vouch for that. Why? Because in person, people watch their mouths and are polite, which is much different than the conduct on this board, as evidenced by this thread with claims of "ducking" fights and such.

So oldmanbjj, if you were to come to my academy to train, with a good, respectful attitude, you'd be more than welcome, have a great time and learn a great deal. If you came in digging for gossip in other peoples lives and shouting about how overrated our coach/personal friend is, yeah, the atmosphere might not be as friendly.

He never invented the twister, but I would be impressed if you could find a setup for the twister roll from side control in any other grappling art.

First post in here but this is the truth. Everyone, especially Kenny is very nice and very helpful. People reading too hard into shit.

Yeah I vouch for this. Real Kenny is a lot nicer than Sherdog Kenny. Real Balto is also a little bit more of a dick than Sherdog Balto. Go figure.

Nobody has to worry about going to 50/50 or anything like that. That is just silly. It is a nice place to visit.

I like Slideyfoot's inference: What Bravo and his school lacks in results, they make up for in marketing.

Hahaha

Because no other art could possibly imagine 'grapevining' a leg and hitting a rolling entry into a 'truck' position? Except any art that knows how to do a reverse ankle-pick breakdown, figure-4 leg scissor, shoulder roll into a split-scissor. Like ... wrestling. Hell, there's probably something near identical in Judo and Sambo too (Sambo certainly has the calf crush variations off of it -Bravo even mentions Gokor)

and thats the problem...

I totally agree. It's a huge problem that people are nice and on their best behavior in person, (warranting polite behavior in turn from me) and then feel the need to act like bold brats as soon as they are behind a computer (which shockingly enough I don't respond well to). Come up to me and be as annoying and patronizing as you have been in this thread and see how well that goes over with "real Kenny."

Im glad that this thread has progressed to me speaking in third person.

Uhm, Kenny your first post in this thread was extremely douchey. So it's hard to blame your asshole nature on others, when you're the one always starting shit.
