You can save the cutesy period/your momma/douche/gay/whatever other contrived, cliche messagedboard insults for your dorky internet pals

I see you're a TMZ reader with that line of logic.

You're not being consistent. Your initial post indicated people should mind their own business. When KJ points out it's a legitimate thread based on the topic being brought up in a public forum (Eddie and Marcelo's video that they posted), you don't actually respond but just post the above comment. In fact, if your initial contention were what you believe, then you shouldn't have commented on this thread at all. The initial post, like the video, is public domain and leads to it being open to discussion. You disagree with this (without saying why), but then posted on an issue brought up ina public domain. In other words, taking your own advice, you should mind your own business and not post on here anymore (or, more specifically, not post on comments/threads unless they are directed to you).

hilarious kenny trains w/ ryan, I train with denny and i for once agree with him. usually his posts make him seem like a cracked out 14 yo.
ryan has nothing to gain and everything to lose. so he didnt want to do it. big fucking deal end of story

then some white/blue belt jerk offs get on the internet (surely 10 p fan bois) that dont even know denny have to start shit. retarded.

go out , get wasted, do some blow and make out with chicks. its way more productive

Eddie Bravo is not a blue belt. He has a Black belt from JJ machado and he knows Denny personally. :)

Bravo didn't invent anything from the Twister series. Entries into the Split Scissors / Banana Splits have been in wrestling for decades since it can at the least lead to back points (back exposure on the mat) if not a pin. Wade Schalles was doing split scissors and his innovation of a Spladle (Split-scissors cradle) since the late 1970's.

If Eddie wants to talk about not giving credit, I only have to quote what he wrote in his DeSouza Control intro from his book:

"Like most of the moves in this book, I'm sure there is some official name for the technique, but I never cared to learn it."

Bravo needs to get over himself.

This. This. A million times this. Every competent high school wrestler in America learns the exact same move.

Kenny has a point. It's being nosey when it comes down to it. I will admit that I am nosey.

As I said earlier, these things usually start from some sort of fundamental disagreement over BJJ related ideas. That's the part that I try to stick to talking about on here because it's where I actually have an informed opinion.

When things eventually progress to more purely personal circumstances, I mostly keep quiet because I have nothing constructive to add. But I do read them when I see them because I am nosey and I want to get an idea of the personality synergies and conflicts between figures in BJJ.

I assume that almost everything I read is greatly exaggerated, and I adjust its severity downwards accordingly. But in the big high school that is BJJ, it helps me make more sense of things to know which groups of kids are cool with which groups and not cool with other groups. It'd be awesome if everyone was cool with everyone, but just because of human nature that won't happen so I have to operate with these things in mind.

I am going to start another thread to gossip about the drama in this gossip thread.

Ah another witty condescending post from Kenny. Why so mad? A bare minimum of half of your posts here are just pure negative shit talking. Knowledge doesn't excuse asshole behavior. So, why so mad?

It's funny how you quote that from his book but missed the part where he said he called it a guillotine until one of the machado's renamed it because 'they already had a guillotine'

Gossip is a fundamental part of human culture for both male and females. You can pretend that you are above it all you want but I know you are just lying. Get off your high horse and either enjoy it or don't click on the thread.

So wait, you were just giggling about someone joking about me being on my period, my response was basically "fuck off," and you are wondering where my negativity is coming from?

Gossip is actually a very important social tool of keeping early society in check. If someone murdered someone, gossip could play an very significant role in singling out who did it. This is something ingrained into the human psyche and it is actually healthy. Pretending to be above it is silly. Gossip is usually to the detriment to the person who has acted WRONGLY, I don't see why you would be against it in this situation.

I am sure your broscience comeback will be entertaining though, maybe you can write a thesis on it and use King Hall as your case study.

You've officially left the planet.
Broscience? King Hall? The fuck are you talking about?
Go ahead and keep justifying why minding other people's business is okay.
