He had a pretty disappointing debut at 145 but Do Bronx is no picnic. It wasn't so long ago Myles was considered to be the next big thing, and I still think he can do great things in the octagon and go very far. I'm not sure if dropping to Featheweight was a great idea, but who am I to say. He was looking awesome at 155 though.

It seems a lot of his hype has died down, but his last 2 opponents are top guys in their respective divisions.

Who would like to see next for The Fury? I think fights with Cole Miller, Diego Brandao or Sam Sicilia would be nice for him

Who would you like to see next for him? How far do think Myles can go in the UFC?

appears he will be fighting his demons for the foreseeable future =/

might need a sports psychologist or something?

I like the idea of him fighting Diego Brandao. If he tries that 'fight to not fight' shit that he did with Cerrone you can bet Diego will go through him like a buzzsaw.

Jury duty?
Sorry... I'll let myself out.

I have good faith that such an internal struggle will only lead to a better Myles in the end.

As for the forseeable future, he will be at Pride MMA performing a seminar this weekend.... really regretting not being able to go, would love to have a spiritual/psychological conversation with him, see where his head and heart are at.

He'll probably watch a few Conor interviews and starts ''believing'' he is the best in business again.

if Jury is intent on staying at 145, bouts with Cole Miller and Tatsuya Kawajiri make sense

Good thread, good question.

I'll be honest, before he lost to Cowboy, I was all in on the hype... and as disappointed as I was with that loss for him, like you said, Cowboy is a top talent... I'm not gonna jump off the bandwagon just because of that.
Also I think before they both got injured he was supposed to fight Pettis on the Chicago card last summer? Wonder how that would've went.
Short answer, I like the idea of Diego too. Maybe the loser of the Cub v Hacran match up this weekend?

I hope he can put another win streak together. I won't give up on him yet.

Couple of months prior to Cerrone fight I said he was kinda overrated and I still think so.

I just never found anything about him to make me believe he'd go very far in this sport.

i was really sure he was going to beat cerrone but hey, thats why i dont gamble.i never see these things coming.

I think the reason for the move down was losing to a perennial top 5 LW. Then he got smoked by a perennial top 10 FW. I think a Darren Elkins or Dennis Bermudez type of opponent, a top 15 type of guy would be good.

Interesting, for me it is the opposite; I havn't found anything about his to make me think he can't go as far as anybody.

I see an abundance of potential and the spirit of a true martial artist in this one.

Glad you liked my post although we kinda disagree.

I do believe he's good and that's why I also said he'd beat Gomi (although Gomi wasn't exactly in his prime anymore).

I guess considering his age, he still has some potential to get better.

needs to go back to 155, looked so badly drained at 145

what happened to Mirsad , is he injured ? he is realy good
Tore his acl before the Kawajiri fight. He'll be back. And yeah Bektic is a beast. I see him wearing gold one day.

Not sure what is next but I enjoyed watching Aloe Vera wring his neck.
