What's next for Amorim

Amorim is on a 4 fight finish streak which certainly isn't common at SW and while I don't rate her opponents very highly she still one of the most exciting wmma out there.
She probably has the second best Jiu Jitsu in the division after Dern. Cant wait to see more of her.
 
I'd just give her a big push into the top 15 right now. They need new blood in there and a lot of the lower half of the top 15 aren't really going to do much more in their careers.

Angie Hill would be a good fight.

Loopy would be good too. They've tried to push Loopy enough and it hasn't worked at all, so use her for someone else's chance to get ahead.

Either way, she's eventually going to be in trouble once she starts fighting girls who aren't total cans that can make her work and tire her out. Her cardio is not good.
 
Her striking and GNP needs work. I'd like to see her against Dern just because it's kinda interesting.
 
Angela hill would be a good veteran test and reasonable step up in competition. I'm a big fan of amorim, but she's been beating cans and girls that are easy stylistic match ups for her. Angie is not special, but at least she is a decent all rounder and a vet. I think it's a good step forward for Amorim before we throw her to the wolves.

She only gassed out once, and that was when she went full throttle from the opening bell. I'm not sure if her cardio is bad or if that was a pacing issue. We need to see her actually tested again instead of facing all these cans.

She should work on developing a kicking game since she doesn't care if she gets taken down. also, she has long reach, I'd like to see her develop a jab, too. It's hard to tell if she's growing lately because she isn't fighting good competition.

Can't know everybody in the UFC these days, so I get it. A lot of these non ppv cards seem to be 50 percent guys and girls making their debut. It's hard to keep up with.
 
It's weird because from one pic to another she's a 9/10 then she looks like Tecia Torres sister.

Oh and yeah she's a good fighter, let's test her against some veterans.

My read on her cardio comes from her having been a round 1 fighter for so long (not her fault. Other girls weren't surviving) + the Hughes fight + the Monsterrat fight. She finished Rat in the 3rd, but she was a far less effective fighter from round 2 onwards due to slowing down too much. A better fighter than Rat would have likely exposed that slowing down a lot more.

I feel like whenever we see these girls who can't finish fast, they always have less than great cardio after round 1. I know cardio obviously gets worse over the course of a fight, but some of these girls fall off so quick. It's weird that we got a whole heap of brazilian girls with the same makeup as Amorim all sort of come in at the same time. Amorim, Karine, Barbosa, Alencar. All way better in round 1 than 2 and 3. They're fun to watch though.

Agreed that Amorim should work on some kicks. I'm kinda surprised she doesn't fight more like Karine, who throws kicks non stop and isn't too fussed about getting taken down. The issue with Karine is that all those kicks wear her out a lot. Would probably be the same for Amorim. Agree that a jab would do her wonders. I forget how long she is.
 
My opinion is that fight was a terrible matchmaking

We had Amorim x Viana and alencar x demopoulos

Amorim x alencar was the right match to make since it would be a cointoss (it could be an exciting grapplefest or a boring grapplefest)

Viana x demopoulos also has a possibility of being an interesting grapplefest, which could also happen as a loser leaves town match
