What's Ankalaev level compared to LHW fighters of years ago?

I don't get why we keep having to have these discussions, it should be enough to just appreciate each fighter for who they are and what they accomplish without having these subjective, non-provable debates about who is better.

I’d say about level 4. He needs like 4000 XP to reach level 5.

I believe he's right up there. I think he beats a lot of LHWs from the prior eras.

Ankalaev is a really bad matchup for Tito.

its hard to say he wins a lot but not usually in spectacular fashion i need to see more of him

Around the level of Davis, Bader, Glover, Evans, and Thiago Silva in their primes IMO. Below guys like Jones, DC, Shogun(against Liddell and Machida x2), Gus and Rumble.

I see Evans in another level from Bader, Thiago Silva and Davis

Jones
DC
Gustafsson, Rumble, Alex
Shogun, Machida, Liddell
Hendo, Wanderlei, Randy, Evans, Rampage
Davis, Glover, Arona, Minotouro
Vitor, Overeen, Tito, Sakuraba, Frank Shamrock,
Ankalaev, Forrest, Yodshida, Thiago Silva, Jiri, Bader

I don't, he should have lost the Thiago Silva. He spammed takedowns, couldn't hold him down for shit and got outstruck in every round. You are underrating Silva, Bader, Ankalaev and Forrest and overrating Shamrock.

Are you ranking these guys all based on prime or a certain set of years cause a lot of them were in their primes at different times.

You can't seriously put Alex on that level when he has yet to fight any wrestlers. The prime versions of Davis and Glover take him down and grapplefuck him. He's champion of a super weak division and intentionally being kept away from his toughest matchup.
