Whatever hapenned to Cub Swanson

He's an old dog in a young mans game. By no means does he get outclassed but he can't beat a Top #10 guy now.

... and just speculating ... now that they found whatever TJ was on his buds gotta clean their system of that.

Enjoyed some of his fights but he's basically been passed up. It happens.

He's not a top contender anymore but he's still a capable fighter and one of the more entertaining guys to watch. There are fun fights for him still and he adds a lot of value to any card. It's not like he's getting KO'd either.

Look at this next card, with no names on the main card. Much rather see Cub fight than most of these guys.
I love watching Cub compete as well but unfortunately nowadays it seems like he needs to be fighting no names because he's lost a few steps IMO. He isn't getting KO'd but he's been getting dropped more often and honestly doesn't seem to have the fire he once had.

I used to train at a gym in San Diego and was friendly with the guy who subbed Cub in 15 seconds. I wanted to spar him but he didn't seem interested. I think he was afraid to be shown up by an amateur boxer.

True story*.

*with my own interpretation.
Yea, something tells me he didn’t want to piece you up and have the ADA lawyers sending him depositions.

One of my favorite fighters. He’s fighting killer after killer and losing

I'm just curious if you guys also reminded of him due to that flying knee...

Cub Swanson is an ok guy, sad to see he lost his last 4 bouts, but he's company man, I don't think Dana's gonna cut him off after an SD loss.

More often? I only recall him getting dropped once by Moicano.

He was never that good. Just a journeyman who's style is super fan friendly.
