Rather see him defend the belt. Legacy wise I think multiple title defenses are better than double champ status anyway. 50 years from now when it’s all said and done who’s getting remembered as a titan of the sport Anderson Silva or Cejudo? Aldo or Conner?

Keep the fights going at the correct divisions. The fight FW vs LW was a blast but there needs to be Illia vs Volk

Don’t want to see Volk rush back after his surgery just to fight Islam in October. Guessing he’s probably fighting Ilia sometime in 2023. Problem is Olives is probably fighting Islam in early 2024, so Volk will have to wait for that unless stuff changes and they fight before the end of the year. So it’s probably Volk and the 155 titleholder in the middle of 2024.

I voted Ilia. He's a worthy contender. Let Islam face the winner of the BMF belt if he's wanting an October date. Oliveira wants it in November or December but if the champ wants to fight let him fight.

I think Max should concentrate on his FW legacy, rather than abandon it.

Going back and forth between weights is the beginning of the end for any fighter.

He's made such headway into the FW division, why abandon it?

Islam won’t have a bad weight cut this time unfortunately. It will be in his backyard and Volk will have about 3 months to prepare for a rematch I want him to stay at FW for now
