Who would he have to beat and how in 2016/2017 for people to consider him one of the GOATs?
 
Use his money to buy nukes, and then nuke the world?

Who cares about 'silencing the haters'.

They help make him filthy rich
 
I don't know? Maybe defend his 145 belt a few times or if he doesn't want to stay there drop it and move to whatever weight he does want to fight at....fighting/winning in general through will help. Although not too much because "haters" hater that too. Or he can just change his name to something Russian.

How does one silence the haters after he did what Conor did? He can't. A drama queen and someone who let the 'community' down BIG TIME will always be hated amongst MMA fans, and rightfully so.
 
It's not like Conor's ever gonna fight for chump change again. He will always get millions for fighting. In my opinion he should defend his belt, at least once, then move to 155 win or lose. That's for his credibility as a champion material fighter.

There's plenty of great fights waiting for him at 155. Conor gonna do fine.
 
Lets say he KO's Diaz. Then KO's Frankie. Then KO's Dos Anjos. Moves up to WW and KO's Lawler.
 
As a huge Conor fan, for him to be considered one of the GOATs in 2017, he'd have to win the LW title, knock out Aldo again, followed by KOing Edgar, then defend both belts twice each against top contenders. He's a great fighter, but he's not even close to being in GOAT contention; he'd have to do some serious stuff to get there in just 2 years.

Don't quit and go out on his shield when he's about to lose.
 
Shut up. Defend the belt (and then vacate it, if needed). Stop making fool out of himself.

Fight and win.

Then talk.

Would not suffice, but it would reduce the backlash.

He can't be a GOAT.
By my own metric there aren't any.
To be a GOAT you have to retire undefeated.
The best he could do is settle down and stop talking so much.

Winning and shutting up.
 
win the rematch with Nate, and defend against Aldo and Frankie. That should shut most of his haters up. If he wants to shut up the hardcore haters, he will have to win all 3 fights by submission.

A guest appearance where he also subs Aoki (after his 3 other sub wins) would make everyone shut up.
 
- Go at least 3 rounds with Diaz
- Look spectacular and untouched
- Beat Nate to a pulp
- Rock him and submit him with a RNC

Then proceed to KO Frankie at 145 and challenge for the LW title again. That'll surely shut the haters up lol
