In the first fight:
Connor McGregor weighed in at 168 lbs

Given the opponent change, and the outcome of the fight, I expect that Connor will have a different physique and weigh in lighter for the second fight. 164 lbs max.

He intends to return to featherweight after this fight, so he will probably drop some of the mass that he put on for the expected Dos Anjos fight. McGregor also clearly thought that his power would suffice in the first fight, but now that he will try to finesse more, focusing more on his footwork, speed, and timing, additional mass will be unnecessary.

He either fights competitively at 170 and never makes FW again, or he tries to balance both and fails miserably. You can't burn a candle at both ends, not at this level.

I expect Nate to be the one who weighs significantly less than last time. He'll probably come in less than Conor just to prove weight wasnt the issue to give Conor no excuses. Conor will probably come in the same weight.

he really should keep his weight in check,if he balloons up to 175, he's gonna struggle to get back down to 145 for the title defense

Hopefully he trains for this fight as though he were going to fight at 155 and only cuts enough to make 170 if necessary. He needs to have the best cardio he can and he's not a large enough man to put on that much lean weight in a short amount of time. I have no idea what his plans are in the future, so that will factor in to how he prepares.

Going from Machinist to Bruce Wayne screwed Christian Bale up.
McG does not have a big frame. He's a small guy, putting on 20 plus pounds and then losing it in a relatively short period must have a detrimental affect.
I have a fat neighbour. He dropped 2 stone - around 25 pounds - but carried on as normal because he's got the belly flab to not notice the difference so there's no real adjustment needed.
Conor, like most fighters - Munoz aside - is always in shape. Expecting to lose that much difficult weight in preparation to defend his gold and not be affected is risky.....

Definitely a possibility, depends on what Nate thinks his next fight will be.

If its a title shot against RDA, then I think he will weigh less.
If its a fight against GSP, then he may try to start bulking up.

Since Nate is talking about only taking money fights, he may be more interested in GSP than RDA.

He'll weigh in at 170 and be 180-185 on fight night.

Yep! This is what I was thinking McGregor got that little man complex he would want to come in close to where he thinks Diaz is at. But come actual fight night after re-hydration Nate climbs in around 175-80 Conor gain another lb or two.

You're a joker if you think Conor is gonna step into the cage come fight night weighing that weight. If you feel he's gonna fill out that heavy what weight do you think Nate Diaz is coming in at..?

Doesn't matter what Conor comes in at. He doesn't have the necessary tools to beat Nate. Nate is just a stylistic nightmare for Conor. If he uses his energy more efficiently, which means be less aggressive, Nate is just going to get off first, establish range, and eat Conor all night. Plus, because Nate is good at keeping people at the end of his punches and he's a southpaw that counter left will be nulified.

I honestly think his best chance is doing what he did last time and try knocking Nate's head off.

Yeah I think the opposite, I think he is going to bulk up and cut a few pounds to make weight, this is also why I think he is done fighting at 145.
The interim 145 champ will be the full champion before you know it.

Also, if he wins this one he will get lined up for a shot at the 155 title again for sure.

You'll get no argument from me man I was just replying to the question. I agree Nate's a nightmare for Conor's 1 lonely style of Knock You Out or try to out point you. Nate's ability to lean and shoulder roll away from punches is sweet to watch. Why this fight is @170 is beyond me in the 1st place why not 155? Clear case of biting off more than you can chew FW belt undefended, LW belt wanted, WW belt wanted, "Greed Killz"...
