What were you expecting for UFC 200?

Obviously the card is not finalized, but I will say it's not what I expected.

This is the card as it stands.

WBW- Miesha Tate vs Amanda Nunes
HW- Cain Velasquez vs Travis Browne
WW- Johny Hendricks vs Kelvin Gastelum
MW- Gegard Mousasi vs Derek Brunson
LW- Diego Sanchez vs Joe Lauzon
LW- Sage Northcutt vs. Enrique Marín
LW- Takanori Gomi vs Jim Miller
WBW- Cat Zingano vs Julianna Pena

I'm confused by the match making and who they put on this card... Cain holds up an entire division with injuries and gets non-contender in Travis Browne. That's a squash match. Hendricks and Gastelum have both had lots a LOT of trouble making weight, and Hendricks makes every excuse in the book. Mousasi has been fighting like he's half asleep and doesn't give a shit. But hey! Let's reward these guys with a spot on our "biggest" card yet.

Doesn't make sense. I was expecting to see the UFC get all the legends and best fighters on 200 and make it something truly special. GSP, Anderson, Jones, Conor, Maybe even Fedor vs Lesnar. At least some more more exciting match ups.. Aldo vs Edgar, Sanchez vs Lauzon, and Miller vs Gomi are the best fights on the card.

Apparently my expectations were too high...

100 was a big event, which for me created the expectation that they would want 200 to be even bigger.

It's a big Milestone for the UFC.

UFC 200 doesn’t look like anything special tbh. they should have put MacDonald vs Thompson on this card. Swap Tate vs Nunes with RDA vs Alvarez. Prob should have put BJ Penn vs Dennis Siver on this card also

I thought they would have Ronda and conor on it.They messed up there match making for it.Ideally it would of been Ronda holm 2 /Conor vs rda without it being booked earlier

The undercard is solid.But everything else is weak sauce.And the chances are Aldo will pull out anyways so you will lose that matchup and cain will probably pull out as well

Whatever my expectations were, they're gone now. I was sure Robbie would fight on 200. He's the most exciting champion to me. I have to see his fights. Other than that, I don't have a clue.

Wasnt a fan of the Diaz rematch, but it made sense for Conor because he would get a huge payday and the Frankie or Jose fight was still there if he lost. But Conor went full goof so yeah.

When I first started to hear of Emelianenko's return and subsequent one fight contract with Rizin, I actually thought the three stooges might be trying to hatch a plan for Werdum/Emelianenko 2. How wrong I was, it was just a fantasy.... that said I am still excited for this card.
