What to think about Fedor?

I am a Fedor fan and i really like him. I simply dont know what to think about him anymore. Many fans are defending him by saying his bad performance was due to age. Sure there is truth to that but i cant fully trust that, i simply cant. If Fedor was fighting top fighter i would say yes, but this....i cant say yes.
1. Maldonado is a LHW.
2. Maldonado is a below average LHW who got cut from the UFC.
3. Maldonado is a 36 yrs old, he is past his prime also, just like Fedor.
4. If Maldonado one shot KOd Fedor i think it would be easier for me, you could say it was a lucky punch, it happened many times....but this was brutal ass kicking, most brutal in Fedors career.

This fight would have been stopped anywhere else, but it wasnt because "the referee was assigned by the Russian MMA Union, which is headed by Fedor Emelianenko", as Karim Zidan said.
The greatest HW in MMA history should have beat Maldonado by ease in any given moment of his career.
This is trully painful for me. There is simply no excuse for Fedor this time.

When I first started watching MMA I bought into the hype and thought he was GOAT..... then I woke up.

A lot of people here are still attached to the mindset of "Fedor GOAT"

They dont want to accept the truth because its like accepting your entire life is a lie

What to think? the same that happened when he began his decline. Fedor doesn't have speed,reflexes,left his wrestling/grappling behind, became a head hunter. He's the shadow of the Pride Fedor.

I like fedor and fedor got me into the sport but like most fighters his age he should retire
