Imo:
Ok, so since an all out rumble is
out of the question for some reason..
(it's not like fighter safety is of priority
considering the steroid exemptions
going around) What would you do
with the WW landscape as it stands?
Robbie, Thompson, Macdonald, Maia,
Condit, Gastelum, Magny, Hendricks,
Brown, Story, Ellenberger, Tumenov,
Larkin, Dong, Cerrone, Nelson, Diaz....
Many rematches to make, many barn
burners, many stylistic nightmares...
But each one is more than capable of
beating the other on a given night.
I'd personally like to see Lawler get
the Diaz fight as I think Robbie would
be up for avenging the loss & it'd be
a fight to set up a fight for the title.
(This is all if Diaz isn't given it asap)
If Diaz does come back & gets the TS.
I'd like to see Larkin/Magny fight Robbie.
Robbie could take a break from fighting
the top 3 & both Larkin & Magny could
use another crack at the upper echelon.
I believe a Nelson/Dong fight would
be great to see considering their strengths
& fight styles. Brown v Tumenov makes
a lot of sense right now, too.
All I know, is that more than anything...
I'm rooting for Maia to set up his title
shot & land the sub of a lifetime
(Condit's hasn't been tapped in 10
years when Healy slapped the RNC on
him in the third round)
