What the UFC did to have DC be in NYC for the presser

Cormier on 4/27 told how hard the UFC would work to accommodate fighters. He was asked to be in New York for the press conference and flatly turned them down, saying that his son had a singing recital that day and he was not going to miss it. UFC then set up production capabilities at Cormier’s son’s school, allowing it to be filmed lived and streamed to where Cormier could go to New York and see it as it happened.

Between that & offering to set up Conor at gym in Vegas, so he would not miss workout is pretty telling that Zuffa (in these cases) does their best to work with fighters IMO
Conor would have only missed 2/3 days out of 7 gym days.
The canceled Stockton presser is 50 minutes from Vegas by plane, & NYC was on the way back to Ireland/Iceland

You realize Aldo, Johanna, Nunes, etc. had a longer flight & went back/forth in 2 days & somehow still managed to be there without bitching?

There are ELEVEN weeks before the fight ... stop thinking it was make or break for Conor's training.

Most camps don't start that early.

But, the point was how much Zuffa tries to work with the fighters when it comes to this things, but congrats for responding with an excuse for Conor
