If the UFC were smart, they would start immediately giving Nate immediate media push, talking about him in every interview and release etc. They should give him a fight that is bound to turn into a brawl on the feet, hype the fight like it is the biggest fight of all time, with the guy who beat the GOAT(their words, definitely not mine). This fight should be highly winnable, and the guy he fights should have almost no chance whatsoever on the ground.

People who already love Nate will buy the fight cuz 209 motherfucker, what? But casuals all watched the fight with him in it. Give his ass a car to drive around in and polish his ass up. Maybe pull the puppet strings and incite a news conference brawl. Do everything they can to pump Nate up as the biggest star in the UFC.

He should be making 500k to show with PPV points from now on. Feed him a few fights with names casuals can get behind, but with no real danger to Nate. Then they should build a card around him. Cut a stockton slap complilation together and end it with the pic of Nate's grill all covered in blood after Conor tapped out.

Nate will deliver every time and with the proper push, the UFC will have a big money maker on their hands.

That's what they should do. But what will they do?

Probably Khabib or Ferguson. Someone who will wrestle with him. Maybe bring Guida up to 155lb again. That or they will feed him to Hendricks, Woodley, someone like that who won't stand with him and will get him pregnant and ruin all the hype he has. He's going to make 20k to do it.

Id like to see Nate fight RDS @ UFC 200 Not Robbie

UFC 196 probably bled the Stockton fanbase dry. They don't have the money to fork in another PPV. Put him on Fox again. His appearances do good numbers.

sadly, with his hype he has now, they will put him on fight pass to sell some subscriptions lol

They should give him a title fight and I think they will give him a title fight. For the first time, I think money might make sense. I'm guessing Nate v RDA and Conor v Aldo 2 will be on the UFC 200 card.

Do you think RDA fights before then? Ferguson is on like a 6 or 7 fight winning streak and I think he beats Khabib as well... can't see them denying him if he wins that fight.

In the media push Nate would have to give out interviews that will sound like "beep, beep, beep, motherbeeps".
Plus, you named 5 fighters who would likely beat him and you want him protected from them. I don't even agree with those names btw, Diaz has a good chance against them, his criptonite is a guy that can use a Condit type game plan.
Even Cowboy if he used a leg heavy kicking game instead of boxing Nate

Yea, I named 5 fighters the UFC will feed him to as punishment for killing their golden goose... what they should do and what they will do, totally different things. They should protecthim and feed him some pure strikers with not a lot of KO power, no ground game and love to get in wars. What they will do, feed him to big name wrestlers who will blanket him.

I'm not sure. I think deep down they are praying for a Conor v Diaz rematch for the LW strap, so they will probably organise fights around the probability of that. Ferguson is a money match-up too. If he beats Khabib, guaranteed he probably calls out Conor.

tbh, the rematch with Nate at 155lb, for a belt or not, is the money fight to make I think. With Nate getting the bigger show purse, of course.

I doubt they rematch straight away. The only problem is that a rematch loses pop if Diaz loses to RDA again. Maybe they match Diaz up with a favourable match-up, but Conor beating Aldo a second time isn't a lock either…

The more I think about it, there are quite a few what ifs. They probably just play whats in front of them. Conor rematches Aldo and Diaz gets the biggest money fight. I think he can beat RDA with a solid game plan but who knows...

They should have Nate do Ellen and a bunch of other ill-advised TV appearances where he will be awkward and inappropriate as hell and the whole shit will go viral with casuals saying "who is this guy? what is his deal? he does UFC?"

America will love him. The Diaz bros are the martial version of art brut.

Nate should callout Bisping. This would give him a chance to slap, do jiu jitsu, AND show that he can do everything that Conor can-and bigger.

The Robbie Lawlor fight sounds sick, it would be an absolute war.
Build up Thompson one more fight then theres the future of the division IMHO

I dont think Nate could handle Lawler. He should stay at 155.

Nate has huge fights at 155 they could market, he has legit beef with Khabib, Pettis, Alvarez and nobody would say no to a cowboy rematch, shit even Diego Sanchez would be must see TV.

a rematch with RDA would be very marketable if they explain how they "never out of shape" Diaz came in overweight, injured and generally not in any state to be fighting and ended the fight slapping RDA off his back calling him all kinds of naughty words.

Then there is 170, a weight class Nate has already fought at and found he wasn't able to put the necessary muscle on naturally to be able to compete with the bigger stronger wrestlers, his brother fights there and has a list much like Nate of fights we would like to see made there.

WW has Condit waiting in the wings to put on the rematch to the epic and controversial first fight while Thompson fights Rory to see who gets next shot, why bother putting Nate in there. Sure him VS Robbie is a fun fight or whatever but it's not like they need to make this fight.

Pushing Nate into a fight at 170 is short sighted, dangerous and makes a mochery of the sport for no reason, since when did beating a 145 pounder mean a title shot at 170? When did Lawler even become a part of this situation apart from the fact that we now know if Conor had of beaten Nate UFC 200 would of featured Robbie unleashing an uppercut so relentless McGregors head would fly into the audience where a Brazilian kid would catch it then him and his friends would run out of the arena using it as a soccer ball.

Nate isn't Nick, and a fight on short notice where he came in out of shape and didnt cut weight doesnt mean he is a shredded 170 lbs,

Either the UFC are trying to somehow convince the public that Nates a Welterweight so Conor saves face or they are that far out of touch from reality they actually somehow think that Lawler V Nate is a great fight instead of just giving him RDA, the guy Conor was supposed to face, or the million other marketable fights in his weigjt class.

Sorry, im so mad.

WTF is this shit, the fuckin' money thread?

They'll feed him to Robbie then throw him to the trash can
