Yeah, it's silly to pretend racism went away. If anything social media has just made it way worse since you tend to see more extreme examples often, which then get used to stoke the flames further and further.

Edit: Obviously meaning worse compared to the turn of the millennium and not since the times of slavery or the civil rights movement ofc, adding this just in case.
