What are you struggling with here? The OP stated that he hasn’t games in years. So fucking obviously getting a PS5 to catchup and play superior versions of those games would be a positive.

I doubt many have experienced it yet but factory resetting the PS5 is as fast as turning it off.

It’s more of a nuisance of unboxing & setting up the other that arrived today.

There are PS5 and PS4 versions of the games, numb nuts. Even the UI distinguishes between them. My argument is sticking with the fucking OP who is asking about these two specific consoles. Yes, catching up on a backlog of games and having the ability to play the superior versions is definitely a selling point. You stuck your foot in your mouth yet again being a pedantic asshole and you have to double down on the stupidity.

I'm way up in the Arctic...but apparently in 2, we should get fibre...the one connected to Montreal, QC....which also goes through a bunch of Northern Quebec Inuit communities as well.

You couldn't really go wrong with either at this point. Still too early to really gauge anything. Outside of a select few games, they're both pretty much last gen enhancement systems right now. Sony has the exclusives. MS has Game Pass. Those are the main selling points right now.

Oh', and you should also know that you'll want a decent TV to go with it.

Xbox Live Gold is packaged with the Game Pass Ultimate tier, and Xbox Live Gold also continues to give games away each month. As already explained, Microsoft doesn't exclude any new games from the older systems. However, Xbox Series X/S owners may claim all Games with Gold.

I literally just explained this. There are PS Plus giveaways that are exclusive to PS5 owners. That doesn't mean they are "next gen" titles exclusive to the PS5 platforms: Bugsnax, Maneater, Maquette. All of these exist on the PS4.

Perhaps you can better qualify the point you're trying to stickle by referencing my categorization of Next-Gen graphical levels (linked on the previous page). I just juxtaposed the respective giveaways claimable on the PS5 via the PS Plus vs. the Xbox Series X/S via Xbox Live Gold.

Because I subscribe to both and one offers games that people want to play and one offers dogshit. GWG’s offerings are largely terrible.

Game Pass is great. GWG is not.
