He earned around 30 mil in only two boxing fights. I would "ride into the sunset" if I were him.

Besides taking a good long rest.

Feel free to give suggestions.

He needs to KO someone in MMA and then see how he feels.

Take the money and rest. Then quit fighting. He’s been fighting all his life, from salt mines to boxing rings. He deserves to rest and take his money and enjoy the rest of his life.

Take plenty of time off and enjoy his payday and life.

I don't know how good the current PFL HW champion is, but if he has skills, I believe he can beat Ngannou. Besides hitting hard, I don't think he is all that great at any aspect of MMA. His boxing bubble has been burst, and if he loses PFL championship fight, PFL will have spent A LOT of money for little return. Maybe the UFC saw this also.

Didn’t get a chance to watch the whole fight. Did Ngannou look that lost on the feet that people are telling him to retire?

I saw his fight with Fury and his fundamentals looked pretty solid so I’m a bit lost as to why so many people are telling him he should hang it up.

a mega fight with Wilder or TRT Vitor, couple of freak show fights and ride off into the sunset.

How about challenge Jones to a boxing match?

More than he made in the UFC isn't really saying anything when he deliberately turned down the waay bigger champion's contract they offered him. It's still a big drop off from what the UFC offered him, and a massive drop from what he mde his last 2 fights.

It's gonna be pretty difficult to find the motivation to come back from such a brutal KO for a 90% pay cut.

He just made 30 million in 6 months, that's more than he ever would have made in the UFC.

He's already rich, why would he continue to fight and risk severe brain damage? And no, he wouldn't easily defeat Renan Ferreira. He would most likely get brutally knocked out again.
I mean, the boxers he is fighting get those purses each time they fight, are they stopping cause they are rich? They can get richer...and there is also the competition aspect of it, but they are already rich and continue to do it, even Conor who we all say he quit when got rich came back to take more beatings, now he is seriously considering it, but he did return when he was already richer than Ngannou.

Take some time off. That was a brutal knockout. Fight for pfl belt at the end of the year and hopefully score a vicious knockout of his own

Then see if there’s any boxing interest after AJ did what he did

You were talking about the PFL. The PFL don't even make $30 million in revenue.
It's more than anyone would make in the UFC. There's a reason all these guys are calling out boxers. But it's a one time payout. 2 times in Ngannou's case.

Hence him probably not coming back to fight for PFL, and it probably not being that great for PFL if he does.

This exact case is why the UFC don't want guys under contract going to boxing. They're either on the hook for a big contract after their fighter gets badly KO'D and devalued elsewhere, or they do well and don't come back, or as they learned from Conor, they come back part time and lose every fight.

Probably hang out in a dimly lit room for a few days, stay off the the internet, and rest.
