Edit: For those who think one competition is better than the other
There is something called "Strike Score" for objective analysis.
The higher the better striker.

Doo Ho Choi : 2777

I give him the rank of 'Incredibly Friggin Awesome'

Curious to see how Holloway vs Mcgregor would play out now. Current Max would be Connor's 2nd best win behind Aldo.

Also can't wait to see Choi fight again, not sure when the next Asia card is so hopefully they get him on an American one soon against the winner of the Swanson Kawajiri fight in August. Maybe in the fall.

I think Conor's going to win again by decision.

Max Holloway>>>all the bums DHC has beat. Brimage is meh. Diego is barely not a can.

Already Asian GOAT.

His stiking is stupidly good. His accuracy is fucking ridiculous and you wonder how this baby faced dude has so much power.

People dont realise he is actually huge for the division. He is moderately tall at 5'11 and is north of 165 lbs.

they both have dynamite in their hands... but mcgregor's first 3 ufc fights were with better competition than choi... choi has top 5 talent, i would currently rank him in top 15

I don't really care, but I do know that Choi is something special.

These comparisons are stupid. Yea Holloway is a better win, but you wouldn't have known that at the time, Max was 3-2 in the UFC when he fought Conor with losses to Bermudez and Poirier. Tavares was 10-7-1 having been a UFC vet for 6 years when Choi beat him. It's apples and oranges.

If you want to look at each fighter they fought. It's not that simple.

Max Holloway WAS probably better fighter than Sam Sicilia, but Marcus Brimage was also a natural bantamweight fighter whereas Huan Puig has fought

WW, LW before that FW fight. How about Thiago Tavares? He's legit wrestler/grappler who probably would have submitted Conor. Conor's ground is pretty bad at this stage of his career. See? It's not simple. You can't just say one competition level is higher.

Is he about to get shipped off to the military for a couple years, or anything like that?

Because if so, may as well not even rank him.

conor ground game ain't bad, go rewatch the brandao fight (3rd degree black belt that submitted bermudez) goof

Holloway became a man after that fight tho. Before that he had moments of brilliance but he was getting his ass beat by Leonard Garcia, so its ridiculous to claim Conor beat the same Holloway we see fuck up Ricardo and Jeremy

I remember they went to ground "after" Conor beat the crap out of Diego Brandao on feet just to finish him off.
They never engaged on ground. And yes at this point of his career, his ground game was bad.
