For me, none...

I go out of this fight with the same amount of confidence on his prospects inside the division as i went in. Uncertain.

They basically both dindu

And quite frankly if you judge on a round by round basis i think WB should have won.

Neither I, GSP or anybody was impressed by that performace, lets be honest.

And to continue the GSP fueled analogies, if this is the stock market, till might be the most overhyped stock you could buy at this moment in the ufc.

Did you lean anything about till that makes you more confident that he could beat, lets say, Woodley? What?
Did you come out of that fight with more or less confidence he will hang around the divisions top 5?

I learned he has enough fight IQ to stick to a gameplan for 5 rounds, which is pretty cool for a 25 year old.

I don't know how he will do against wrestlers but I think he has proven enough to be considered a top 5 striker in the division even if you thought he lost.

I learned he can manage his cardio well enough for a low paced 5 round fight lol.

I learned he truly is Ill Darren Till, a worthy successor to Ill Will! http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/darren-till.3771115/

I learnt WB needs to change his strategies in how he wins fights with the new rules.

He gives away aggression and octagon control and lands too many non damaging strikes. It lost him the wins against Woodley and Till. Won it for him against Rory though.

Well, we learned that he's certainly a top level striker in the UFC. Two, that he can go 5 rounds and follow a strict gameplan and three, he can beat a top fighter.

Confirmed that he's one of the best strikers in the UFC.

Roll your eyes Tyron fans.. It's a tough match up for Woodley, Till should be at least a MW.

Let's assume Tyron fights off the cage, clearly Till likes that too. He's going to be bigger, stronger, faster and likely smarter in that position.

Till could put Tyron against the cage and keep a safe and effective distance. It would be Tyron's job to close the distance. He doesn't move like Wonderboy.

I was impressed. I thought WB would school him. During the fight he had good reflexes and made fast reads on WB, also learned Till cant cut off the octagon frequently.

We learned at 25 his severe weight cutting days are numbered.

He should be forced to move up to Middleweight.

That in reality he is a MW and should fight in that division.

Does Tyron Woodley even fight anymore?

Like what the fuck?

Till would beat Woodley's ass.

Hope it happens soon.

That he should fight at MW.

Well, it's not, "What is he saying?" I can tell you that much.

About the IQ, im not sure id attribute that to discipline or "fear/pressure". Im inclined to think he did that much more because of this being a big opportunity fight, the opponent he was facing being a tricky/counter fighter and that by going too agressive he was afraid to risk getting KOed in front of his own crowd and losing his big coming out party.

About him being a top 5 striker... im not sure why you would think that. Not to mention the fact he lost the striking battle IMO, even though uneventful, i thought ive seen him leaving way too many openings. The only reason he got away with it is because wonderboy decided to go full complacent. If wonderboy had taken any risks at all he could have landed fight ending blows.
Till was there to be hit and even losing balance/composure during some of the exchanges.

At least thats what i saw.

I agree with what your saying, especially needs to change something if he’s going against another striker and is forced to leave it in the hands of the judges.

We learned more about WB than anything, he reaffirmed what I always suspected. I understand why he fights elusively, just like Lyoto he doesn’t have dat chin to commit his full Arsenal or the give one to take one mentality... when he overcommits he gets dropped. It’s really amazing he’s been able to fight at the highest level as long as he had without getting KTFO yet.

Is Till a fat fuck? Colby says yes. #nerdbash2018
