He's had his chance.

Had a nice run but he was given two make or break fights, and he failed miserably.

Don't get me wrong, I love Andre.

But I think he has to go now.
He can stay as a gatekeeper but he's chiney and I am concerned about his long term health

still some fun matchups left for him, Barnett for example. Wanted to see that fight in their prime, still would watch now

He still has some great match ups ahead of him and could still go on another run. People counted him out before and he came back.

His last two fights have been against the current champ and #1 contender. Will wait to see how the Barnett fight goes before saying he needs to go.

What not indeed! One of my all time favorite HWs but he won't ever be able to fight for a title again. Hopefully he retires soon. His comeback in the UFC was impressive though

Though he lost the first round and was finished in the second, I thought he looked pretty good against the Reem. Mobile, aggressive. There are still fun and winnable fights for him, and potential upsets in his favor. It's not like his chin can get any worse.

I think you got your wish already. He's now officially a member of the UFC senior citizens division, fighting other old legends.

it's HW bro, 2 more fights and Andrei will get his momentum back

maybe if the hw division had more than three good fighters that could happen

Welcome to the UFC and the HW division. You are not in the top ten

He's been through rough patches before and made big comebacks. But I don't know if he should stick around to take more KOs. I believe he has 9 KO losses.

I'll try and name them off the top of my head, for my own entertainment. Fedor, Brett Rogers?, Sylvia, Pedro Rizzo, Stipe, Overeem...that's all I got.

Edit: I was right about Rogers. Was missing Kharitonov, Ricco Rodriguez (I don't even remember that), and some unknown guy in Arlovski's first pro fight.

Andre still has plenty of fight in him, although clearly his best days are way behind him. I enjoy watching him fight regardless of win-loss stats & age.

If they make another 300 film, they should include Arolvski as one of the main characters.

Viacheslav Datsik is not an unknown guy.
