Fuck purple, I tried ordering from them and they couldnt give me a delivery date cuz they say their beds are "made to order." They said it could take up to a month.
Wtf is that shit? A month , fuck you!

I Ended up getting some bed from sleepworld for like several hundred dollars cheaper cuz the bed was on sale , and I got another discount for paying cash.

Anyway I got a mattress with a pillow top , then ordered a memory foam thing to throw on top later on. I dont always dig the foam so its nice to be able to take it off. Plus it was several hundred dollars cheaper this way.

I also got a weighted blanket , those things are pretty rad too. They are kindy pricey but if you shop around they get seriously marked down at times I bought one on sale for like $45 bucks then a few months later it went up to like $100 .

Can’t remember the name but it was an expensive one twenty years ago when I bought it. Luckily I worked at a furniture store and the manufacturer gave me %10 off cost so a $700 mattress cost me $210.

That should give you an idea on the insane markup on furniture. Negotiating is super easy when furniture shopping sherbros and most of the salesman are commission. Talk them down.

Like I said in an early post I sell beds for a living . Temperpedic is by far the best mattress out there but you do pay a pretty penny for them and the memory foam feel isn’t for everyone however they should last you twenty years. How much do yours run you and how long ago did you buy it ?

Well we bought a king Cloud Luxe probably 7 years ago or so. After about 5 years it started sagging really really bad and wasn't comfortable anymore so we got it replaced. (Had Tempur not worked with us we would have gotten a Purple) Now we have, I can't think of the name, but it's a level or two more firm than the cloud luxe and it's a split king. I like it. We got the frame that makes it go up and down which is cool. I don't use it much but when I do, it's very handy.

I don't recall the exact price or numbers. I wanna say it was somewhere in the $4000 range for the split king and we had like a $3600 credit from the previous bed. Something like that.

Maybe it's just because I'm a lot heavier than my wife but I notice my side is softer than hers. Her's is more firm when I lay on it. But they're the exact same mattress, the exact same age, and we've been laying on them for the exact same amount of time. So it must be me being bigger than her that makes it wear out faster or get softer faster.

I know someone who has the firmest Tempur they sell. They've had it for like 18 years or something and it seems to be still going strong for them. But the damn thing is like sleeping on a rock. It's so damn uncomfortable, at least to me. But they seem to like it. Then again, I tend to like my bed a lot softer. Unfortunately in my experience though softer wears out faster.

Got a similar set up in my bedroom.

The Tempur rocks and firmer than what used too, but I do feel I sleep & recover better.

I was just as happy with old bed Sealy Prestige that didn’t have all the bells & whistles.
Put it in the guest room; cousins & friends have told me they love the bed.

Peace of mind & Quality of sleep are two of the most important markers in health/happiness. I try to keep my head & heart clean (er), and made sense to invest in a quality bed that helps me recover & sleep well.

Spent a bit more than had in previous beds, but makes more sense where I’m at in this part of my life.

I have a similar bed for my back. Nice to be able to incline the feet and or back. It was 3k but so worth it for a comfortable bed.
