Mine sort of like this.

As for the poll, feel free to share more things. And I'll add them.

Xmas lights should be on the list

When it comes to the cold, I'm more of an inner layers guy, rather than a puffy jacket guy. It's amazing what a longsleeve rashguard, longsleeve thermal over that, & then same for the legs, can do. Then I can pretty much wear my regular autumn jackets, throw a good scarf around that & yer golden. Good gloves & hat a must of course.

I live in Florida, so I've fashioned my own out of a couple gator hides stuffed with ice house and meth.

Layers.

On particularly cold days I put a turtleneck over my regular shirt so I look like this:

Then I put on a warm vest with good pocket space over it:

Then I either put a heavy duck fiber jacket over it:

Or a lighter spring/summer windbreaker for milder days.

I live, and have worked outside, in a cold climate where the temperature can vary a lot. The whole big-puffy jacket thing is a pretty limited design as it backfires on you if you have to go from inside to outside frequently, and it can be way too much for middling cold days. Layers of varying levels of thickness on the way to go. Some days, working outside, I'd have four turtlenecks on, my vest, and my heavy jacket, as well as an insulated overall. Some days I'd wear three turtlenecks in and have them all off by mid-day and only be wearing my vest. I found this type of setup good for 15 degrees above to 35 degrees below, depending on how many turtlenecks I was packing.

I love winter vacations the most. The aesthetic of snow is quite relaxing, the satisfaction of walking out of a blizzard and peeling off your layers to a warm hotel/ski lodge/restaurant. Skiing is always going to be one of my favorite activities.
It's also just a happier atmosphere with Christmas around the corner.

Side note, nothing makes you realize how privileged you are to have central heating/civilization in general until you get caught out in the freezing cold.

Also, something down down the lines of

I have a heavy down filled jacket from Mountain Warehouse which keeps me warm and dry.
