It's unwise to judge him too harshly since none of us have faced the temptations he has: young, famous, rich, successful, women throwing themselves at him, people offering him drugs, belief in personal invincibility etc, who is to say we'd handle his life any better? But that doesn't mean people cannot recognise that the things he does are wrong.

Things to be mad about regarding Jones:

I don't think "most people have made far worse mistakes" than crashing your car at speed into a pregnant woman's, fleeing the scene, then returning to collect money (if you believe Bones) or drugs (if you have common sense) from said car before taking off again without ever checking on the passenger of the car you crashed into
