When I first saw him on TUF I thought he would become a huge star, he had some extremely brutal knockouts and looked great on his feet. All his losses have been split decisions except for his last one which was an unanimous decision. I really wonder how he knocked out one of the best strikers in the UFC (Mousassi) yet completely faded against Robert Whittaker. Probably has some of the most devasting and fastest kicks in the UFC

Underutilized potential via the mental aspect of the sport.

Overrated from day 1
Said it from day 2
Got lucky with that shot, loses to Mousasi 9/10 times
He'd have lost to silva via ud if they did meet at 198 (just too slow to get started)

Because those flashy KO kicks rarely lands, and he doesnt have much other tools to finish top level fighters.

This.

Dude has all the physical gifts and potential in the world.

But his MIND is just not able to keep his fighting spirit consistent.

Frustrating.

That bastard has cost me about 500 bones over the last few years. That Natal fight in particular was crazy annoying.

Fluke win against the moose! Average fighter

Loads of striking talent, but seems to be missing the instinct to pull it all together. I still get excited to see him fight, but I'm not sure he'll ever be a contender.
