He got put into a comatose state when it was implanted. I'd always assumed it was motionless while gestating, with a sudden surge of growth at the end. He definitely felt that part lol.
 
Predator for me. I love them all even the shitty ones
 
Star Wars

I dug out the Phantom Menace DVD and will resume the last hour later tonight. Glad the old DVD is still playable. Doesn't look at sharp as Blu-Ray.
 
You mention franchises but I think sci fi films actually have a worse record here than most. I'd say part of the problem is most classic sci fi consists of a relatively simple plot element that you can hang drama on well, when you start to make sequels this often becomes obscured by delving into extended lore. Either poor quality productions looking to hide behind it or attempts at something more that end up drowning in it.

i like alot of sci-fi movies and series, but this movie is the best and the book saga is the greatest sci-fi story ever written
