What is your all-time dream vacation?

I have 2. One is Maldives, luxury bungalos. Snorkle and swim all day, drink all night under the stars.

The 2nd is a Viking River Boat Cruise on the Rhine. The one I am looking at hits Amsterdam, Kinderdijik, Cologne, Koblenz, Speyer, Breisach, and Basel. Then you can take on 3 days at Lake Como in Italy at the end. I would get to see all the museums and smoke weed in Amsterdam. Then see the German Black Forest region. Castles and shit. No kids allowed, no photography sales etc...it is way more subtle than a big cruise ship.

Sounds cool, but what's viking about it?

Find the Canadian embassy in Thailand…

I have been on a few dream trips already, but next is Norway to see the northern lights I think. South America also

I was supposed to have gone to NZ two years ago. COVID postponed everything. So down for that trip. Looks like beautiful country.

Been to island of Ios 10 days and despite i was there with two hopeless douchebags and shit room, went solo and i had the time of my life

Give me 3 weeks there with my two of my best buddies + good apartment and i swear we conquer the fucking island

I know Egypt probably won't be the greatest in terms of tourism, but I feel like I need to see The Great Pyramids in person before I die.
Never listen to anyone that says a place is all bad. There are over 200 countries on this planet and I would visit them all if I could. Even random ones like Nicaragua. Never hear it on travel sites and one of the higher crime countries but was amazing. There were two volcanos in the middle of the largest lake in Nicaragua. Got to hike up the inactive one. Taking the ferry it looked like something out of king kong haha.

fuck no go to Japan or the tropical pacific islands. WAY nicer.
Japan was awesome been twice. I particularly like 3rd world for the drastic change from the states. You just have to get used to seeing poverty and understand the people there. Again... there are over 200 countries and I'd visit every one if I could. My number 1 travel rule is never visit the same place twice. Do it all then you never need to go back. Few exceptions for me. Egypt and Israel because it was the first trip I ever took (id like to go again) and Italy because you can only see a fraction in 10 days due to all the art history etc. Japan twice was because I have some Japanese buds there. Taiwan was another because I was engaged to a girl from there. Went 4 times. I have repeated a few others after getting married bc the wife wanted to go. But overall every country has something to offer imo.

Taiwan is another that's not on any travel maps but was incredible.

both look awesome! the Maldives pic made me think of this...for anyone looking to visit the Caribbean I highly recommend St. Lucia. went there last year for our 10 year anniversary. has beaches, mountains, they make their own chocolate, and there's a volcanic mud bath/springs

Nice dude. Always wanted St. Lucia for that volcano. Looks awesome. Good pic

What would you like to get up to in Scotland? I live there so I am just curious as to what draws you to here.
Have a good bud from Glasgow. Always wanted to visit him there. From the people to the landscape seems awesome. Highlands, Edinburgh etc. Will get there someday.

O I am used to seeing poverty.

I am from Aus and have traveled and worked all over Asia, been to India for work and seen the poorest of the poor (hated India as well but not due to the poverty). A lot of the Pacfic islands are quiet poor and I could easy spend the rest of my life travelling around them and never be bored.

Fair. If you are an island guy I get that as well. Belize was my favorite in the western hemi. Also... would love to hit up Australia some day. It was always on my list as well as NZ. With 3 kids now the window is shrinking though.

Favorite island?

Nice one. I stay just outside of Glasgow but work there and occasionally go a trip to Edinburgh. It is a good place and all the better if you have a good friend that you can hang out with too.
