Media What is wrong with ilia topuria ?

I love it. the fans wanted an interaction with the man and he gave them a memorable one. I saw justin gaethje at a wrestling camp my son was at. one of the kids asked him to leg kick him, gaethje did a real hard one and the kid went down. another coach asked to clinch a little and he ate a huge liver shot on the wall and went down. don't ask a pro fighter to hit you if you don't really want it

In Topuria s case I think he can legit rep both countries as he emigrated from Georgia at 15 and lived in Spain since.

You can't dictate what country someone wants to represent. If Ilia feels closer to Spain, let him rep Spain. Is Nasrat wants to rep Afghanistan, let him rep Afghanistan. There's nothing fake about that, it's his heritage.
 
He's a naturally small guy that I'm assuming came from a fairly modest background, now he's gained wealth, fame, and incredible fighting ability, I'm sure that must feel amazing and he's probably drunk with power.

Let s say he can rep his parents country, ok. Still rubs me the wrong way that he reps fuckin Mororocco while never repped Germany. Sounds like some shitty immigrant mentality.
 
This is not a fan, is the son of his coach and cornerman, and close to Ilia. This is from some years ago, the kid is now 20 and an amateur fighter.

This. The kid in that first clip was the only one that looked surprised. The rest stood in front of him abs clinched wanting to take a punch, and got what they asked for.
 
Those liver punches ; while I'm sure the fans actually asked for these to happen, It's a bad idea. I guess it isn't meant to be smart, but someday, something bad might happen. It would suck to punch someone and somehow make their head meet concrete.

Edit : that kid definitely did not ask anyone to suplex him to Bolivia.

I'm a little surprised he's directly targeting the liver with pretty hard shots. Usually when fighters do this kind of stuff, they go middle of the stomach.

The kid was fine and playing along with it. I read somewhere he's either the gym owner's son, or some fighter's son and trains. Most times that video is cut off to make Topuria look bad as if he hurt the kid and the kid is about to cry.
