What is Van Dammes meltdown really about?

What happened after he punched Van Damme did he say

He tumbled over his chair and they dragged zito off of him who kept banging the top of his head.

Van Damme challenged zito to a water vs water fight but Zito declined

The year is 92/93 ish. I am at an event for a screening party with a girl I was dating who was an actress. I have told this one before, her name was Alison Smith from sitcom in the 80s called Kate and Allie. She was going to NYU and I worked as a Bartender right near there where we met. She was cute, but we were very casual. Pre cell phone days. We dated for maybe a semester before she left to film a TV show in LA. She took me to a screening for something, I can't even remember what it was. But JCVD was there, and she told me to not even make eye contact. I was bummed because this was Universal Soldier era, and I was a huge fan. He was known for grabbing women, and being totally inappropriate. I remember him being high as fuck and acting erratic. He was with a gorgeous brunette. I did say hello at one point, and he was wearing sunglasses inside lol. Seemed nice to me, but was sweating and jittery.

Did the universe owe him movie stardom and we are supposed to feel sorry for him when he was rejected? I dont get who he is angry with.

I have followed him over the years and I think to know why he changed. Imo it was exactly when he either completely stopped roids or did a lot less. After all these years his natural production had to be shot so he could have a dysbalance with Östrogen making him a lot more sensitive , easy to act irrational or emotional. It was a very strong shift in behaviour I would say around 15years ago. Since then he gets a lot more emotional , even kinda needy sometimes. Maybe he cant take roids now because of health reasons.

Well or its just the coke, alcohol..etc

He is not a good person.

Was just high as a kite on coke is normal respect to him for having a lot of money being that deep into his addiction and being able to get off of it

And he lives rent free in Don Wilsons head

I like both guys but The Dragon is one of the top kickboxers of all time and one of the five utmost legends of American full contact karate and kickboxing (Norris, Lewis, Wallace, Urquidez, and Wilson). As good as Van Damme may be, Wilson is a class above in actual kickboxing/karate.

He did lose to a point fighter though who was something like 2-1 in full contact. So its not out of the question that Van Damme could have won.

If I remember correctly, Van Damme felt somewhat bad at some point about being an out of control cokehead and saw himself as having let down kids/his fans etc.
His career had gone quiet and he was hoping Bloodsport 2 may regenerate it, then he got passed over and didn't have a role in it, although he saw Bloodsport as 'his movie' and the movie that made him a star. So he was devastated by that.
Then to prove himself and remain relevant he wanted to fight some thai boxer for real.

I've suspected he was a martial arts actor who regretted not being a fighter (Yes he had around 20 but there is little to no footage). When he became famous martial arts actors were big but actual fighters didn't get much recognition or money. I think by the time this doco came out that had reversed.

So I think him being upset was probably that and what has been mentioned.
Probably realising his best days were no more and he was clawing at relevance in realisation.

I don't think anyone would sanction the fight against the thai boxer either so it never happened. Everyone thought van damme would get killed due to age, cokeheaditis and the exp level difference.

He has manic episodes and is bi-polar.

She went on to marry a CEO. She somehow manages to fall in love with very well to do people, never regular folks.
There's a joke, how do you make a small fortune with horses? By starting with a large one.

Poor guy.. seems tensed.
He was a movie hero.

And still has the looks/limited acting skills thst took him there.

He was played out by Hollywood.

I wonder if there's a better way to face it and fight back instead of whinning.

Maybe mentally he's not up there.

It can happen to anyone.
Someone should inform him about this new thing called podcasting before literally everyone starts doing it

Is he still preparing for the fight with somluck?

Lol nope. That fight was supposed to happen in like 2006-2008. I forget the exact year, but it was a long ass time ago. And it never happened.

Yes, the video clip TS posted is super old. Like almost 20 years old. It's not a recent clip.

Thats not the point where he starts crying like a little bitch. He talks about struggling in Hollywood, as if somebody forced him to to leave Belgium. He was a karate fighter in Belgium who wanted to become famous.
