What is the technique called at 0:59 in this self defence demo?

This is actually my TKD instructor. TKD does have basic jujitsu in its self defence portion (joint manipulation and throws), but I am not sure if the technique employed here is from jujitsu or not.

at 0:59... Does that shit have a formal name in grappling?

It's been used half a dozen times by the Korean demo team also. I never knew we had this much in common with professional wrestling Hahaha

So why can't this technique be molded into some type of flying triangle?

I think Hwoarang does it if you press square and x together. Probably the only place this move works is in the king of the iron fist tournament.
