I don't know a single working class person in the history of the world that earned $70K (£52K) a year.
£47,000 per year, about £1000 a month savings, full time employed as a HGV driver and own a one bedroom flat with a mortgage.
I'm upper class according to the chart but I live in NY and am Middle Class. Average home around me is 750k and is a cape or ranch.
By these numbers I am middle class but I'd be upper class if adjusted for my country. I am a systems analyst and make around 80 grand a year. We have slightly lower salaries compared to the US, but the cost of living is much less. I am most likely better off here than I'd be in the US with 120 grand (my peers make around that much in the US).(Your vote is anonymous)
