Casino had a good mix with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone as the leads, and then James Woods in a strong supporting role. The rest of the cast included comedy/late night legends like Don Rickles, Dick Smothers and Alan King, Western film legend L.Q. Jones, Kevin Pollak and Frank Vincent.

Boogie Nights had Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds and Julianne Moore as the leads. It also had a really strong supporting cast including Philip Seymour Hoffman, William H. Macy, Heather Graham, Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, Thomas Jane, Luis Guzman, Philip Baker Hall, Robert Ridgely (not a big name, but a great actor, and his last film before his death), Alfred Molina, John Doe, Robert Downey Sr. and some small roles from porn stars like Nina Hartley, Veronica Hart and Lil' Cindarella.
