probably an earthquake if we are being serious. You can take cover from all of the others. Taking cover during an earthquake can still kill you.

Depends on how bad each one is really.

Tsunami probably kill the most people because humans are stupid and live or vacation on the coastline. They are also the most easily avoided by not living on the coastline.

Tsunami are most often caused by earthquakes but there is evidence of them being caused by landslides as pieces break off from islands created by volcanoes. Those landslides could technically be considered earthquakes so earthquakes and tsunami could be considered one and the same.


Earthquakes can have devastating effects but the areas they occur in are fairly well defined so the effects can be avoided by not living in those areas or by building to withstand the effects.

Hurricanes are another natural disaster that mainly effects the coastal areas although their effects can carry inland.

Volcanic eruptions can cause local devastation or global devastation depending on size and location and appear to be the only one of the four that have threatened human existence. Volcanic eruptions can cause earthquakes and Tsunami and might even disrupt weather patterns enough to create hurricanes.
 
Volcanic eruptions threaten our whole species. There’s nothing else on Earth that does that as effectively, not even other humans.

They’re rare in the history of civilized man but not that rare geologically. They’re essentially guaranteed to occur over a long enough period of time. (And most of us are not even interested in working on that problem. Makes you wonder about the species)

Not everyone knows because most volcanoes are not caused by earthquakes. Also, not all tsumanis are caused by earthquakes.

On topic... I'd also say volcanoes.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis are essentially the same thing Tsunamis can only happen if there is an earthquake or if your mum jumps in the ocean.
