in my opinion it has to be 170 to 185. The guys at 170 seem big and all but when you put hendricks or condit next to a guy like Weidman or Jacare they would be dwarfed and hugely outsized. Even though a guy like Bones would be outweighed by 40lbs if he fought bigfoot silva at 220lbs, I think a the wws moving the 15lbs up to mw would be far worse.

Lhw to hw. A 220 pound guy fighting a 250 lbs behemoth is dangerous as fuck.

I agree, feels like body types 170 and below are more similar than they are to 185 and above... All weight jumps are hard, but I think that 170 goes from average height humans to tall humans...

Rumbleweight
I'd go with LHW to HW too

I think the aberage 205 is more competitive with the average hw than the ave 170 is with the ave 185

Probably flyweight to heavyweight.

I'd say LW to WW.

It's the first class difference which jumps from 10 pounds to 15. Most guys fighting at LW weigh, I'd wager, between 165-170, while most guys at WW are probably walking around at 185-195.

whatever Anthony johnson did. ww to hw... Seems like it worked for him though.

For top five talents, it's light heavyweight to heavyweight. Fighting a guy like Werdum, Cain, now Stipe, etc when you give up a serious size advantage is going to be a rough night.

For mid tier talents and below, however, it is paradoxically heavyweight to light heavyweight, because the skill level and athletic ability is so much greater.

I can't believe all the people saying LHW to HW
Jones, Rumble, Gus, and DC would all do better at HW than a MW Lawler, Condit, Woodley, Rory

Get real

uhh what? a lot of WW's are around the 6foot mark same as MW's Condit,Rory,Brown,Thompson,Maia just to name a few

height ain't an issue for most WW's however their frame seems to be smaller

Logic says LW and WW. That's a mean, average of most male humans that play competitive sports, so the competition is toughest. People of 125 or 265 size are at the tail of Gauss curve, while majority of people is 150-190.

MW to LHW - percentage wise it's the biggest jump.

ok I get the height thing but look at the bodies on guys like Alan Belcher and Romero and Jacare they are fucking HUGE. Condit and alan belcher are the same height, but alan looks like a behemoth next to him im sure. why am I talking about belcher hes retired idk, but he was a big looking dude for 185.
