Lets face it, the societies on earth are doomed in lets say 200 years or something, as giant retards live in the middle east, entire continents populated by machete weilding savages, failed narco states in south america.

What has to happen so we can say "hey lets not do stupid meaningless shit anymore" and build a better world

Can be for example:

Meteor strikes
Zombies
Nuclear war
Rise of the machines
Alien invasion
Rise of the Emperor of mankind
EMP blast

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHERDOG

I'll say the return of Jesus Christ to Earth.

Humans have gone through a lot worse and survived.

Here are just a few I thought of quickly...

- Get rid of the debt slavery system perpetuated by the international banking cabal.

- Convert the military industrial complex into a machine that benefits humans, instead of destroying them.

- Get rid of or convert all mass media propaganda machines into media outlets that report unbiased truths. And that promote higher concepts for human civilization. All they do now is peddle fear and lower mind subjects that appeal to the lower consciousness of humanity.

But then again, most people don't even believe any of this is really happening. So you may be right, we may have to have a destructive reality check. I hope not though.

These are solid, but what is the catalyst that triggers their doom?

A raise in consciousness by the masses is the only way. To be honest I feel even a meteor or something like that wouldn't even "wake up" most people. Their minds, hearts and souls need to be improved, or at least be more aware of our current condition.

Silly suppositions.
We'll be around.
The new world of the future will be space colonies.

Haha, you have no idea how much INNER work humanity has to do before we can ever set out into space for colonization. We can't even manage our own planet without polluting, destruction and war.

We haven't been able to create a closed system on earth so it's even less likely we could do it in space.

Ha ha I have a pretty good idea. And it's gonna be accomplished, by people that don't let anything stand in the way of progress.

A New World requires the right leadership.

@WhiskeyPunch All of that sounds really good, but do you think that it's realistically ever going to happen? Turning swords into plowshares, an age of intellectual enlightenment that rises above the commercial industry that is the media, and lasting world peace are all wonderful ideals. I just don't think that they will ever happen because all it takes is one organization to defect. Basic game theory says that there will always be destruction, sensationalism, and mistrust. Not even a meteor will change human nature.

I think it is the only way for us to move forward. We will progress much faster if we can somehow re-purpose our infrastructure instead of destroy it and start over.

I think it will happen a long, long way off into the future. But you are right, there is a pioneering spirit that is innate in some people. And they will be the ones to push this progress. But as a whole, we have a lot of inner work to do.

Oh you mean capitalists?
We've seen their ventures before.

It was called imperialism
& globalization. They both lead to the
destruction of ecosystems & cultures.

The value of money is the great lie.
& Just like alll the seats in the house..
The seats on your little space ship
will be bought as well.

BTW, I guess with that ship, we could
say goodbye to the vast majority of
earth & say "good luck" with the middle
finger in the air while they all have to
toil over our collective mistakes.

*snip*

Agreed. But maybe, just maybe, it won't take as long as we fear. Our worries always loom larger than actual size.
It's comforting to remember that we went from Goddard to the motherfucking Moon in decades.
We can do this.
