Holiday Season, and all. Probably check out some highlights and old fights.

Any recommendations to break someone in?

"What is the best fight for newbies?"
I would say Hazbulla or Mike Jackson if we're talking guys on the roster now. Some other guys who aren't active would be BJ, Matt Hughes and Sage Northcutt. Any of those guys can get you an easy win if you are a new fighter. Throw in CM Punk too.

For newbies id rather recommend current fighters let them get invested in current "older" fights then that way that can get into live events

I have watched Pride, but not nearly as religiously as I have UFC, so some others would have better recommendations for you.
I do know Fedor vs Nog and Fedor vs Cro Cop are considered some of the best fights Pride had to offer.
Sakuraba's run through the Gracies is a ton of fun as well as Hendo vs Wanderlei.
