What is the best counterattack executed in UFC?

My pick is this : Doo ho Choi's against Sam Sicilia

The reason being

It's a stop hit counterattack that was executed perfectly.

It is as perfect as it can get in a real world.

He is intercepting an opponent's attack with an attack of his own instead of simply blocking it
or dodge and then attack.

You rarely see this kind of attack in MMA.(especially in this fashion)

If you have a better example, provide gif or/and explanation.

One of my favourites:

When I watched it live, I didn't even see the shot that dropped Cummins.

All of Machida's wins

Machida is a great fighter and well known counter puncher, but he looks sloppy in this gif compared to Doo ho.

Machida isnt as effective in landing a torrent of blows,He works best as a one hit counter guy. Rashad was allready done, but when he tried this against Weidman and Rampage he couldnt finish them.

I'm shocked nobody has posted Aldo-McGregor yet.

Anderson Silva on Irvin and Griffin is legendary.

Yea Anderson Silva is considered the best counter striker among people on Sherdog. And Lyoto Machida 2nd.

But I value Doo ho's stop hit counterattack higher than Anderson's slip and punch.

That's great moment.

For sure - a patient, traditional Machida styled fight beats almost anybody. Then he sort of stopped fighting like that... became more aggressive and while that makes for more exciting fights it certainly doesn't get you wins.

Conor got hit hard as well. It just didn't land on his chin.

So I would consider that more like both Aldo and McGregor threw punch at each other and one got KOed.

Against Weidman and Rampage he had to,because he was down on the scorecards, and had them backpeadaling. Against Rashad,he knew Rashad was going down

Yeah I suppose. Was still a thing of beauty though.
