Media What is the best and worst prediction you've ever made in MMA?

I predicted that kendall grove would dominate the middleweight division lol

Best: Lesnar would beat Couture

Worst: Rosenstruik would beat Ngannou

Best, I called JDS by spinning heel kick over Hunt during the fight

Don't know if it was worst, but my most embarrassing was how much I just assumed the bare-bones wrestling of Carla in a young women's division would be still too much for someone who is only a striker like Joanna

the best prediction i ever made was calling that yair rodriguez up elbow. my friend asked how i thought that fight was gonna go and i told him "yair is gonna be losing going into the fifth round, and at the very last second hes gonna knock out the korean zombie with a never before seen upwards elbow and face plant him." called it to a tee. true story.

I call cap but I also listen to Lil Peep and used to play as Hwoarang in Tekken.

Best: Weidman to beat Anderson (expected it to be on the ground though, not on the feet) and Leon to beat Usman.

Worst: Every time I put money on Nick Diaz.

Bes eva: Matt beats Gsp. Made good money.

Worst: Lately…Gane beats Jones lol.

Best- Cain easily beats Brock within 2 rounds, Carwin showed the blueprint to beat Brock, but didn't have cardio, Cain of course had that
-Nunes crushes Ronda inside 3 minutes, Ronda got exposed by Holly clearly lol
-Khabib future champ at LW, called that 3 years before it happened
Worst- Jones losing to Gane, DC 2 and Gus 2 lol I just figured he would eventually lose at some point lol

The most recent I can think of:

Best: Volk vs Yair. Knew Volk would destroy Yair on the ground and get the finish in the third.

Worst: Really thought Whittaker would tool on DDP with an easy 30-27, staying on the outside and landing long strikes.
Yep, i agree with the Whit one, I thought for sure an easy 30-27

Picked Frankie over Gray by rd 4 tko in 3rd fight

rose over Joanna in the first fight

I’m wrong a lot but can’t remember any big misses off the top of my head. Never thought Robbie could beat Rory especially twice

Best: Jan beating Rockhold because I saw it live in Vegas and had monies on Jan for the upset

Worst: Aldo over Conor and Cat over Honda

Best - Edwards over Usman 3. Called it to a T. Said it would look similar to 2 but Edwards wouldn't slow down, stuff most of the TDs or get back up, and win a pretty uneventful striking match.

Marcin Tybura over Alexander Romanov. Said he'd lose round 1. Start to take over in the second and completely win the third. Tybura by decision was around +650. Even put a few bucks on a draw bc I was worried Romanov would get a 10-8 in the first, which I think he did on one judges scorecard.

Evans KO over Liddell. Swore he would KO him with a left hook. He landed a few nice ones and my friends (all huge Liddell fans) started cussing me. Lol. Ultimately it was the right hand that did him in. Shads following 'heart attack' dance is still one of my favorite celebrations ever. I can still get a small rise out of my pals just by doing it. Lol

Worst - I lost a second mortgage on my house on Luque vs WhatsHisName. I thought he'd KO Belal like he did the first time or take a clean decision. He got embarrassed.

Both - Jan vs Alex. Had Jan to win at +125(odds boost ). Jan by sub at +1200. Jan by Rd 1 sub at +1600. Was already mad for not putting more on it when he got the early TD and was workings for a choke along the cage. Then it just fell apart.

Robbed by the judges??? Still good pick??? Chael vs Bisping. The Count was like +275 and I swore to everyone that was way off. If they fought a month after that it'd be even money.

Burns vs Chimaev. Said chimaev should be around -175 favorite, but -650 is way absolutely ridiculous. Burns being +450, I loaded up. The fight played out close as I thought with Chimaev slightly ahead. Again, if they fought again, odds would be about what I said. So even though I lost, those two were very good bets.

not sure what best is

worst, Shogun to knock out Jones..

Worst: Askren>Masvidal

Best mid-fight: Lewis>Volkov going into the 3rd.

Best pre-fight: Hughes/Penn 1
Thought that Hughes was too dismissive; and put too much emphasis (in his pre-fight interview) on running in the snow.

Always said Nunes would be champ, even when she lost to Cat Zigano...

Was adamant that Brandon Thatch was the next big thing.

Recently,

Best, Jones - Gane. - I carried the fight exactly as it happened pretty much.

Worst, Whittaker - DDP.

Bisping beating gsp was my worst bet

I favored Holly over Ronda but only slightly. Same with Werdum over Cain. I also picked Sterling in the rematch with Yan. My best pick was probably RDA against Pettis because I was absolutely right about how the fight would go. I thought RDA would dominate the whole thing and Pettis' only chance was to land something big. I think Pettis was like -550 as well which is totally insane. Oh honorable mentions Nate vs Conor and Weidman vs Silva. Not sure if I favored Nate or not but definitely thought he had a WAY bigger chance than people were giving him. In Silva vs Weidman I saw a hungry young undefeated dude vs an older guy that was talking like he didn't want to be fighting anymore. I had a bad feeling about it so as a Silva fan I decided not to watch and sure enough he lost.

Worst picks... I thought GSP would absolutely school Hendricks. To me Hendricks seemed like a wrestler with an overhand and that's it, could take people down but then couldn't do anything once on the ground and had a hard punch. Hendricks threw way more kicks and knees than I expected, really attacked GSP's legs (I expected him to throw a total of 0 kicks) he also had a reach disadvantage of 7" so I really thought he was just going to be totally outmatched on the feet.

Best - Stots to beat Magomedov, Grasso to beat Shevchenko.

Worst - Yan to beat Merab, Folayang to beat Aoki...
