What is realistically the most cruel matchup that can be made in the UFC?

Ngannou is a perennial complainer who has been bitching about "where is my title shot" for the past 1.5 years after he was steamrolled during his first one and then put on the most boring fight in the history of the UFC with Derrick Lewis. He should have been cut from the UFC after that.

Nah, I think he'd rather hang around in the UFC where he makes 5x more money than Walker and continue to destroy everyone not named Stipe.

On the other hand, Walker is going to get cut soon and even Bellator likely won't bother with him, as he'd get chinned by most of their top 10.
 
No such thing as a cruel matchup if its in the same weight class. They all know what they signed up for when they became fighters.

gaethje has zero bjj skills. charles would simply employ the khabib game plan. except i dont think he would be as nice as khabib and likely punch his face in from mount or go for an armbar/kimura.

Gaethje's TDD is pretty good but obviously Charles mauls him if it gets to the mat

I think Johnny Walker will be moving up to HW since no one in the top 10 of LHW will accept a fight with him after seeing how he viciously KOd Spann & Cirkunov. Look at how blatantly Anthony Smith has dodged Johnny Walker, the guy would rather fight an unranked opponent.

Since Ngannou will spend the rest of his MMA career acting as the gatekeper to the HW top 10 I am sure him and Walker will square off in the near future.

You also have no idea what a "gatekeeper" is lol. Walker's already flimsy chin would get him sparked out by Bellator's HW division, let alone Ngannou.
 
ilia topuria vs elkins, khamzat vs condit, ankalaev vs smith. basically guys who are overmatched and way too tough for their own good.

yeah adesanya never faced a pressure wrestler like winn. little guy will expose adesanya defensive wrestling and poor skinny guy will never be the same again
